Slowly mix Nutrish® with his other food over a 5 - 10 day period until your dog is solely eating Rachael Ray™ Nutrish®. Once your dog is only eating Nutrish, keep in mind that feeding guidelines on the bag are a guide. Your dog's individual needs will vary based upon his size, his activity level and even his age. And overfeeding is a common source of digestive upset. Be sure to check your dog's weight and adjust feeding levels to maintain a healthy weight. And, don't forget to see your vet regularly.

My dog loves this food. I used to give him the rachael ray beef food which is cheaper and he really liked that as well but his skin was showing signs of allergies. (Not actually sure if the allergies were food related or from the weather.) Anyway, I switched his food just in case and his skin is looking better and he likes this food just as much as the beef. It is more expensive but I like that it's a limited ingredient recipe so theres no unnecessary fillers.
I honestly didn't think she would like this one of Rachael Ray. We have always given Indica Rachael Ray and we tried different ones from the little bites to the Salmon one. This one she absolutely LOVES it!! I am so excited that she loves this Rachael Ray!! I am so thankful for Chewy for having this product and for Rachael Ray well deserved Indica kisses (lick lick) lol
I am concerned about the recent addition of peas to the Limited Ingredient Lamb and Brown Rice Recipe Dry Dog Food. It is my understanding that peas (and other legumes) decrease the absorption of Taurine, an essential amino acid for a dog's heart health. This can place a dog at an increased risk for a dilated cardiomyopathy, which can be fatal. Some breeds of dogs, such as our Labrador Retriever and Golden Retriever, are at a higher risk for a dilated cardiomyopathy. I hope the manufacturer considers removing peas from this formula and substituting a heart healthy alternative ingredient. For this reason, I cannot recommend this product to others. Otherwise, I feel the list of ingredients is fine.
Upon opening my package I find that my dogs potential new food was not sealed correctly, now there is dog food everywhere. I am not happy with this outcome
Product is great but might have a problems with sealant for bags. Got bunch of them half open.
Not sure how they can advertise no gluten on the front of the package when the food contains barley. Buyer beware.
I use these as fillers for rolling ball active treat toys. They are the perfect size. The most recent bag arrived open and spilled into the box, so not great quality control on the part of either product or Chewy.
I started ordering this food last year because one of my dogs had a pea allergy. It was great to finally find a food that worked for her that she enjoyed. Sadly, the new recipe has added peas. Very disappointing and a big waste of money on their food this month.
This recipe was perfect for my very allergic boy but they went and added peas to the recipe and he is extremely intolerant. Back to the drawing board to find a brand that won't change an already good recipe.
I didn't notice right away due to having a few bags stored when it became hard to find. The bag used to state "6 main ingredients" it's now 9. As with many companies these days, they are trying to get one over on the consumer. They have added cheaper (for them) ingredients to lower their costs, yet we pay the same or more. This formula now includes chicken meal and peas. BUYER beware if you weren't already. Be sure to read the new ingredients/formula to be sure it doesn't contain anything your dog is allergic too. How this was handled shows the type of company they are. I will be looking at other foods to likely switch.
