Most cats eat many times during the course of a single day. A recommended feeding schedule for an Adult cat is to offer half the daily amount for breakfast and another half for dinner. Vary the amount fed according to age, size and activity level of your pet. Kittens and pregnant or lactating females should have food available throughout the day, so split their total daily amount into several meals. The total daily amount for kittens is approximately 1 - 2 . For lactating females, the amount varies with the number of kittens, but is approximately 1 - 3 1/2 .
Because Rachael Ray Nutrish may offer different ingredients than your cat is used to, it may take up to 10 days for your cat's system to become acclimated to Nutrish. Slowly mix with his other food over a five- to ten day period until your cat is solely eating Nutrish.

Works for all cats!!
By KittyQueen15 on Feb 15, 2019
My husband and I have tried numerous foods- grain free, special diet, cheap, expensive- everything! But it seemed no matter what we tried, there was at least one cat who didn’t handle it well (digestive issues). Rachael Ray is the only food that has not caused any issues for our sensitive tummy felines. Not only that, but they actually like it too! My one and only complaint is that I need a larger size bag. We feed 24 cats (pets and feral) and 14lbs is gone in a blink. Other than that, it’s the only food we know we can rely on and Chewy has the very best price! Thanks Chewy!!

The kitties love it!
By Mike on Feb 8, 2019
I had been feeding my cats separate food, one was getting friskies indoor delights dry food; the other was eating science diet urinary health/hairball control. I purchased this to replace the friskies since it was running out and it had received good reviews from a number of sources. I decided to see if my cat that was eating science diet dry food liked this as well and was quite surprised by the result. The cat eating science diet has historically been a little skittish (adopted from a not so great situation) and standoffish. When I changed her food to the Rachel Ray stuff, there was an almost immediate positive change in her demeanor and mood. She began playing with her sister more, seemed I had been feeding my cats separate food, one was getting friskies indoor delights dry food; the other was eating science diet urinary health/hairball control. When I changed her food to the Rachel Ray stuff, there was an almost immediate positive change in her demeanor and mood. She began playing with her sister more, seemed to be much less paranoid of outdoor neighborhood cats, and seems to seek more affection from me and my wife. I hadn't thought the food she was eating was having such an impact on her mood but since switching to this, she's seemed much happier. Not only has her demeanor changed, but she seems to really enjoy this food. I was skeptical that Rachel Ray food would be as good as people said, but the cats LOVE it and we are just so happy that our skittish kitty is calming down and being much more of a sweetheart. Highly recommend this food. It's also good for cats that don't chew their food well as it's small pieces that appear easy to eat. … more

Every ounce of me was against buying.... so glad I did.
By GypsyMari on Jan 17, 2019
Let me start with... I CAN NOT STAND RACHEL RAY. I cringe every time I hear the word "Delish". I state this only so when I say this food is the best thing for my little Cardamom ever, I mean it. She has been a fussy eater since the day she came home with us as a kitten. We went through so many...Hills, Nature's Balance, Blue Buffalo. She wouldn't eat it unless she was starving. So one day, because it was on sale and I figured I had nothing to lose, I bought it. I hated myself for it because of "HER" but this was for Cardamom, so it was worth the blow to my pride. Best thing ever. She actually started pushing the container of food in front of my bedroom door as she just couldn't get enough. So Let me start with... I CAN NOT STAND RACHEL RAY. The food is great and every person that sees Cardie remarks about how beautiful her fur is and how healthy the little speed demon is. … more

Happy Cats!
By Elle on Feb 14, 2019
I have 3 cats in my household. One (Aero) has some sensitivity issues. He eats better and has less digestives issues since making the switch. My mom and her cat moved in a few months ago. His weight has improved and his thick coat went from rough to very soft. Mavis (the third) was a rescue from Amish country. Her growth was stunted. She has filled out and her coat is divine.

Changed Ingredients
By StewiesDaddy on Feb 1, 2019
Just a heads up to everyone they have changed the recipe of the Nutrish cat food in the green bag it now contains fish meal among other changes. Contrary to popular belief fish is not part of a cats natural diet ( last time you saw a cat go fishing?) fish is high in magnesium which in some neutered male cats causes bladder and urinary tract issues. Unfortunately it means I will no longer be buying this product and will have to find a safer alternative. Wanted to alert everyone since the change was made recently without any notice. Stewie thanks you for your time.

Most nutritious food I have found
By Virginia on Feb 21, 2019
I never thought there was such a big difference in my cats food until I found this food. My cats absolutely LOVE Rachel Ray Nutrish and have put on weight, are healthier, and much more active then they were before when I was feeding them what I thought was good food. I will never switch back to my old brand

Doesn't like it
By Mothertrucker on Feb 12, 2019
So far, my cat is not a fan. As soon as I put it in his bowl, he slaps the bowl around, then he acts like he is trying to cover it up, pawing at the floor all around the bowl and even the wall. The bowl is empty when I get home 13 hours later but I think he's only eating it because it's all there is.

Cats rate it five star
By Pidsley on Jan 13, 2019
The cats like it. I should probably give this five stars; I was skeptical about a food with a celebrity cook origination/ endorsement. I am not eating it, the cats are, and they took to it readily. If your cat has an excess weight problem, you may want to reconsider...actually, maybe this provides what the cat wants and the cat won't keep eating. My old cats 18,18, 15, have no problem eating this, and this is the first dry food that the 15yo would eat.

Picky cat loves Nutrish
By Jane722 on Feb 5, 2019
Finally found a healthy dry food my picky cat eats. Small and easy to chew. My cat likes to lick his food mostly. So getting him to chew small pieces that are made not using only corn and grain meal was a plus. Chewy has been a great help with giving so much information about the ingredients. Love Chewy!
