  • Great ingredients, good price, not the one

    By on

My dog has now tried 3 different kinds of Rachael Ray foods, peak open range, the other peak recipe and another of her grain free formulas, she's refused to eat all of them. I really wanted her to like this it has really good ingredients and I love the price compared to the other grain free foods, but there's something about these RR foods she is just not liking. She loves the RR treats tho. Oh well.

  • She loves It!

I switched from Rachel Ray's grain free Beef 11 pound bag to this PEAK by Rachel Ray. My baby girl has food sensitivity, but with PEAK she has the same nicely formed stools and high energy. We haven't been on it long enough to tell if her coat is going to remain shiny but my guess is it will as Rachel Ray's products are all quality and nutritious ingredients.

  • Hit and miss!

I have 2 rescues and both are very picky eaters. The youngest (3yrs) really liked it and ate it right away. The older (7yrs) had a difficult time as the kibble is very hard. He just could not chew enough of the kibble to keep him healthy. I wish he could chew it better as he seemed to like the taste. I even added liquid but he still couldn't handle the kibble being so hard. If your dog can handle hard kibble then this is a great food.... if they have problems with the hardness of kibble this is not for you.

  • Helped My Dog's Allergies

    By on

I switched my dog Lucy to this about a month ago because I was pretty sure she was experiencing food allergies to her usual Purina food. She is now scratching less, she's no longer biting on her feet or skin and she smells better too! She had gotten to the point that she had a yeasty smell on her skin just a couple of days after I gave her a bath, she was biting her skin to the point of making sores and her fur was dry and coarse. Now her fur is much softer, she has much more energy and her skin is no longer covered in spots from her biting. She seems to really like the food and thankfully it's not as expensive as some dog foods made for allergies. • Best Dog Food

I have a 10m White German Shepherd and he Loves this. I was feeding him the Blue Wild. He liked it & would go back and forth eating. Sometimes he had food let over by the time it was dinner time. But Peak he would eat in one sitting and couldn't wait for his next meal. Happy I bought the small bag 1st to see if he liked it. I now buy two 23lbs bags a month on AutoShip.

My 4 dogs of various sizes, LOVE it. They were being fed a different Grain Free dog food prior and I decided to give them a break. They seem to be very happy that I did.
