    Problem with flavor

    By on

This is a well season 'wet food' but is the flavor for my EJ? No, the flavor is strong as it's for humans. Ej tried eating the 'wet food' meat but the flavor was overwhelming. I tried diluting with water, no change. My next step is, draining the gravy from the meat (with a rinse) and make my own gravy.

I started my puggle on this food because i wanted to put her on a grain-free diet. She goes crazy when it meal time. Her belly seems to be doing better since i switched foods.

    Awesome dry food topper

    By on

Really love that this is chicken stock based, rather than “gravy”. Also shreds of chicken are large and keep my dog interested. Only constructive feedback Is the feeding directions on the back; believe it says 4x per 10lb (doesn’t even make sense)

    Peak shredded chicken

    By on

Not good for senior dogs. It comes mostly with hearts and livers that you need to cut up. Better to go with a paté.

    Picky Miss Dolly

    By on

Not really shredded meat and had more of the dark meat than the white chicken like she likes to eat, however, Alex and Drew liked it.

    Picky eater no more

I have probably tried every kind of dog food to get my 3 year old jack Russell to eat; dry food would sit in the bowl for a couple days and it was very frustrating. Even “gourmet” enticing brands would not call her to the bowl. I admit spoiled but I wanted a situation where I knew my dog had eaten so I could stay on top of her potty habits since I am frequently out. Finally got some suggestions from the kind folks at chewy at which of the myriads of dog foods others had success with. Enter Rachel Ray peak packs( but not the duck, no no on our menu) she gobbles them down without hesitation.
