Feeding Instructions
Adult Cat SizeFeeding Amount (cup)
5 lbs1/4
10 lbs1/2
15 lbs3/4

Most cats eat many times during the course of a single day. A recommended feeding schedule for an adult cat is to offer half the daily amount for breakfast and another half for dinner. Vary the amount fed according to age, size and activity level of your pet.

Kittens and pregnant or lactating females should have food available throughout the day, so split their total daily amount into several meals. The total daily amount for kittens is approximately one-quarter to one and one quarter cups. For lactating females, feed up to three times the amount shown for their non-pregnant weight.

Transition Instructions

Because Rachael Ray Nutrish may offer different ingredients than your dog is used to, it may take up to 10 days for your dog's system to become acclimated to Nutrish. Slowly mix with his other food over a five- to ten day period until your dog is solely eating Nutrish.

Technically it is chicken flavor, not fish one

    By on

CatFoodDatabase says this food is pretty good and I noticed in Chewy the price was great, so I bought a small bag for my cats to try. They cleared the bowl the first time I fed them but lost their interests after that (clearly prefer to eat wet food and the other kind of dry). They still eat it at night when I only leave this food for them though. This is not fish-flavor food as trout and salmon is #12 and #13 ingredients (I only read the big word “trout” and “salmon” in front of the bag when I bought it). I had planned to give 3 stars for this but the good price and service of Chewy improve to 4.

    Everyone likes it

All my cats eat this and love it! Can’t buy it in the local grocery stores anymore, in case I forget to order it from chewy (which I did last time) But I recommend this product. Like all foods, cats are finicky, so you have to find the right one for your furry babies.

Everyone of my cats love it. This is a first -- out of 5 cats, usually there are some of them that prefer 1 dry food and others prefer a different dry food....but they ALL love RR Nutrish PEAK.

    Cats Said Yum!

    By on

I normally feed the cats a Purina product and it was not available. This was a substitute and I was worried the 3 cats would not tolerate the change. They loved it and did not have vomiting episodes. The small pellet type food is perfect size and has the flavors they love.

    Must Be Tasty

    By on

I bought a bag at a local grocery store that was marked down. I liked the good ingredients. Got it home and Kibby like it too. I ordered a bigger bag from Chewy and now Patchy my other kitty thinks it's pretty tasty. I feed it free choice and I have to fill the bowl everyday. They get canned grain free food once a day. So far it's a winner.

Based on reviews I have seen on Rachel Ray cat foods, I thought I would try this for my cats. I slowly introduced this new food into their diet and they seem to like it a lot.

Good stuff for an old guy

    By on

Our 18+ year-old tom, Little Kitty (who isn't little), would hardly sniff at any other dry food we have tried - but he loves this one! I'm really amazed. So we supplement Peak with 1/4 cup of wet food, morning and evening, but he consistently goes to the Peak.

    So far so good

I was unable to get the brand I usually use for my cat but he seems to like it well enough. I wasn't sure about grain free considering my cat doesn't have any allergies.

    Great Alternative!

    By on

My cats are raw fed, but they get kibble twice a week. Usually they aren't that excited about the dry food, but they LOVE this particular formula. I usually feed them orijen dry cat food, but they like this one better & the pieces are a lot smaller, which is great for digestion. I docked it a star because I would like to see less "meal" being used - hence why I feed raw haha. Also interesting, it is the cheapest by FAR on chewy (by $9 for the 4lb bag)

Love how well Chewy communicates in these stressful times just like they do when it’s normal business.
