These bones fit into Kongs as stuffing, so they last a little longer that way. Otherwise, they just gobble them up, not much chewing going on.
I cut these "logs" in sliced triangle shapes and put it inside a treat toys. They last longer and this eliminates Zekey (my dog a Cairn Terrier) from getting diarrhea from having such a big serving. It is one of his favorite treats.
We used to feed our dogs once a day. Thought better of that. Would you want to wait to eat only once a day? Began feeding dogs 1/2 cup dry dog food moistened with water for breakfast. Followed by a Rachel Ray Nutrish mini soup bone to round it out. I'm not kidding myself. The only reason they eat the moist dry dog is they know they get a soup bone.
Leo the pooge is 18 yrs old and has few pleasures in his retirement. Nightly strolls a good pillow and gnawing on these. They last a long, long time for him to eat it. He has them hidden all over the house. Then surprise, he brings one out. Grumpy but not forgetful. Hahaha
My dachshund puppies (5month olds) love these soup bones. I thought they’d last a little longer being a good size and diameter but my pups eat them up pretty quickly. I will repurchase but if you’re looking for something to occupy your fur baby for a bit this is most likely not that sort of treat.
Besides the chicken, these r the pups favorite. It is convenient that they come in Minis. Two of the pups are small breed
He is very picky on treats. If he doesn't like something he won't touch them. He loves this product.
This is one of a few treats my Toy Poodle will eat. He likes the minis.
My 15 year old dog loves these. They are soft enough for him to chew but they take a few seconds longer to devour than a treat. I wouldn't choose these for a super chewer, but for small dogs or older dogs, these are great.
My dog will do nothing by attend to this treat when its in front of him. I split them in half and put them in a kong. Keeps him busy. The portion given to him is usually gone in 15 minutes.
