    My puppy loves these

Great distraction for a teething puppy that loves to bite. This is a good transition bone for a puppy who doesn't know how to chew on bones and raw hides yet. This is a good transition bone for a puppy who doesn't know how to chew on bones and raw hides yet. I got some of these for my puppy along with raw hides, a hoof, and rope toys, and an activity toy to combat the terrible biting phase my puppy had. My puppy had trouble figuring out what to do with a raw hide at first but these were a little softer so she could really bite down on them and she learned how to chew on it like a bone. She mainly only chewed on these and ropes when she was really little, and then she was bigger she was able to move onto raw hides and the hoof when her teeth had grown in better. I still use these as a treat now that my puppy is 6 months old and a medium sized dog, they are a nice treat because they take a little longer for her to eat and she feels like she has more of a reward then when she gets a training treat. The larger ones and the small ones are both fine for my medium sized dog but she tends to eat it all in one sitting so if I give her a big one I break it in half. I would recommend the minis for puppies or small dogs. I get the beef and the chicken flavors, and the beef one does leave a little bit of a red mess on what ever the dog is laying on while chewing, I don't know if the chicken one leaves a residue or not because I usually give them to her when she's in her kennel but I think it would be less of a issue because it's not red, a lot of dog chews leave a mess either from drool or because of the flavoring so it not a concern for me as the residue doesn't seem to leave a stain after washing. … more

    Not Mini Enough

    By Joycat17 on Aug 17, 2021

These mini chews were too large in diameter and too tough for my little ones. They were passed on to a friend's doggo who pretty much swallowed them whole! I think that they'd be fine for medium sized dogs or ones that are more aggressive chewers.
