Feeding Instructions

Most cats eat many times during the course of a single day. A recommended feeding schedule for an Adult cat is to offer half the daily amount for breakfast and another half for dinner. Vary the amount fed according to age, size and activity level of your pet. Kittens and pregnant or lactating females should have food available throughout the day, so split their total daily amount into several meals. The total daily amount for kittens is approximately 1 - 2 . For lactating females, the amount varies with the number of kittens, but it is approximately 1 - 3 and 1 - half . Be sure to provide plenty of fresh water in a clean container daily.

Transition Instructions

Because Rachael Ray Nutrish may offer different ingredients than your cat is used to, it may take up to 10 days for your cat's system to become acclimated to Nutrish. Slowly mix with his other food over a five- to ten day period until your cat is solely eating Nutrish.

About Rachael Ray Zero Grain Cat Food

All the Flavor Without the Grains

All the Flavor Without the Grains

Rachael Ray wanted to create a meal that's good for your cat and full of flavor—just like her people recipes—but without grains or glutens that can cause allergies. So she whipped up Nutrish Zero Grain Cat Food, a kibble that's made with real whitefish or real U.S. farm-raised chicken. Meat is always the first ingredient, and each recipe is gluten-free and grain-free for a protein-rich meal that's perfect for kitties with food allergies or sensitive stomachs.

Why Grain-Free?

As a pet lover herself, Rachael Ray wants the best for your furry family members. And since cats naturally eat a diet that's full of protein, not grains, she figured, why not make a cat food that matches? With Zero Grain, your cat can dine on the delicious real meat she craves. Combined with a moderate amount of carbs from easy-to-digest vegetables, this grain-free formula provides complete and balanced nutrition for your favorite feline.

More Room for the Good Stuff

More Room for the Good Stuff

Because every bag is full of premium poultry or seafood, plus nourishing fruits and veggies, there's just no room for the stuff your kitty doesn't need. That includes fillers, glutens, poultry by-product meals, and artificial colors, preservatives and flavors. Rachael Ray calls this the "junk" that doesn't belong in your cat's dish, so she made sure it never ends up there.

Going Above and Beyond

Rachael Ray collaborated with the people at Ainsworth Pet Nutrition—people who really know pet food—to create these delicious masterpieces. For more than 80 years, they've produced top-quality pet foods with ingredients that are sourced from trusted partners. The recipes are inspired by Rachael's own culinary creations, and made by a company that goes well above and beyond government food safety standards.

    Great delivery and size

    By on

My cat was almost out of food and was going to go to grocery store where I always bought it and then Chewy arrived. Not only is this a bigger bag that is exactly the same food, the size and price is superior. I will order from them again.

    Worried cat owner

    By on

My cat was really lethargic and having skin and upset tummy issues. Of course it doesn't help that she's 11 years old. Within days of switching her to this catfood all her issues began clearing up. She's active, happy and has the beginnings of a new beautiful, soft and shiny new coat. I had no idea her diet had this much impact on her health. I love Rachel Ray's catfood! Definitely worth the cost! Oh yeah, and she eats less of this brand because there's more protein. Therefore she poops way less ( but enough) and the clean litter box lasts longer and is much easier to keep clean!

High Quality, Affordable, and Helps Shelter Animals!

    By on

First of all, my cat LOVES this food! I originally fed him the 'regular' Nutrish (which he also loved), but I switched to Zero Grain because it's better for him. Honestly, for a few dollars more, Zero Grain is 100% worth the price. It's affordable. As for quality, the top FOUR ingredients are meat... which is what cats should be eating! Another thing I really love, is that Rachael donates portions of her proceeds to help shelter animals, via Rachael's Rescue. It's not the main reason I buy this food, but it is definitely a part of why I continue to purchase this product. In fact, the local stores stopped selling it, which is why I ordered it from Chewy! We LOVE this product!

    By on

This cat food has never let me down! We have 4 indoor cats, one of which has severe stomach issues with some foods. We live in a VERY small area, & none of the stores (within an hour radius) carry this food anymore so I have to order it. It is absolutely worth it though because the food is perfect for our cats, & Chewy is such a great company! Usually we get our orders in one day, but never more than three!

    Perfect Food for Finicky Felines

    By on

After spending hundreds of dollars on food, "Badu" finally decided to love this. Although she is a Feline, she is a "Prima Dona" who is loved. Thank you for providing this dry food - it's great to see her enjoy her food.
