They hate it!
I changed dry food because they were getting bored with their old stuff, so I decided to try Rachel Ray Nutrish Zero Grain because it’s one of few dry brands that doesn’t contain any chicken anything. When I opened the bag, I noticed that the color of the kibble is nearly black! It is also very small. I tried it anyway and mixed it with a little bit of the Evanger’s topper. They refused it, so I threw it out. The next night, same thing. The next night, just dry, no topper. They’re not having it! I’m on a limited budget, but I try to get good quality products for my dogs, and I have one that has a severe allergy to chicken and wheat and wheat gluten, which makes it very difficult for me to find something that he can eat and that they both like, because my female doesn’t have allergies, she’s just extremely finicky! Seriously, what’s a mom to do?
Very Stinky!!
When we first got this food it was great. Even though we have bigger dogs they like the smaller bites. But for some reason the past few bags have smelled really bad. Like soured food. I kept thinking something was dead in our room where we keep the food. Then figured out it was the food. I’ll be switching to something else today.
Great brand
I've been pretty impressed with RR's pet food. I switched both my cats and my dogs to RR brand. I'm all about what's healthier for my animals to eat when it comes to dry food.

Grain free
I was hesitant to purchase this food. I couldn’t find they’re usual brand at the store. My order hadn’t arrived yet. I purchased Rachael Ray grain free dry and all I have to say is no coaxing to get my girls to eat this. None at all. They do get some pate mixed in but also in the previous brand. My girls where very itchy on the other food. This cleared them up. They gobble this up like it’s their last meal.
Not for my picky girl
I chose this as an alternative to the ‘Just 6’ limited ingredient line that was discontinued. I wish they would bring it back! Any how, maybe my dog just doesn’t care for beef. Or bison. She isn’t crazy about this food. I’ll give it another try in poultry flavor and hope for the best.

I have two Shih Tzu and they love this dry food. They are picky about food, but they eat really good.

Ray dog food
Normally our lab Huey will eat any food given him, but not this food. I am not sure if smell or taste but he refused each feeding time. We even tried 3 flavors and he won't.
