description could be better
Kinda of disappointed with this. Does it work and is it straight forward yes. But from reading the description it was not clear to me that it’s only 2 modes like you don’t get to choose between the beep, vibrate or shock. It’s just 1. A few beeps followed by vibration or 2. A few beeps followed by vibration and then if they continue barking it shocks. Which doesn’t work well for what I needed. I have a rott who sees something and does a single loud bark and the beep is slightly delayed then it has to get through the beeps to start the vibration and by now he’s stopped so it’s vibrating and just bothering him and he doesn’t know why. And the beeps don’t effect him, ideally I would to start it out on vibrate mode and then move it to shocking if need be but that’s not an option. And since he’s not incessantly barking this isn’t the type of collar I needed.
This collar has done exactly what we needed it to do!
Within just a week, my Goldendoodle has learned to not bark unnecessarily. We have only used the vibration mode. I will only resort to the shock mode if he begins to ignore the vibration. But so far, it has reduced his barking drastically. As soon as he hears the beep, he begins to quite and he knows the vibration is coming, which he doesn't like to feel on his neck. Bark = discomfort. So I'm hopeful, that within just a few short weeks, we can remove the collar completely and have a polite pup for the neighborhood.
Frisco Bark Collar
when we wee looking at bark collar we really didn't know that much about them, but we knew that we needed ne that would train and not scare the dog. this collar does jut that. we set it on the 3rd setting that was recommended and our dog has learned not to bark all the time just when it to necessary and only a few times. we has turned it down to a 1 after only 1 week because he is so much more calm and not barking at every little thing or the TV.
DON'T RECOMMEND
I have been trying various barker training collars with no luck. I have barkers and criers. My barker was not even phased by this collar, not when it beeped, vibrated or shocked. The shock apparently wasn't sufficient enough to get a reaction. The unit on my crier received the vibration and beeper when the barker started...no reaction at all. If I held both units in my hand and a dog started barking only one unit reacted which leads me to believe that when the barking starts the unit on the crier, which I could hear, reacted to the barking but not the one it was supposed to...the barking dog. Gets confusing, I know.
Works but a problem if you have more than one dog
Just the sound and vibration were very effective for our older dog. But it would go off when our puppy would bark near him. Not usable for us!
Works great for my 50 lb dog
I agree with users who say the dog learns quickly with this collar. Mine responds well to vibration corrections. He is definitely is more mindful of his vocalizations--both inside and outside--and I've only used the collar about three times.
Too bulky for smaller breeds
This collar has nice options but the device is a bit too bulky for my Italian Greyhound’s small neck. It is just awkward for him to wear so not really practical to utilize as a training tool.
Works Great!
This works great! It gives 2 beeps nd one medium vibrate on the first mode. I havent had to switch it to shock mode at all! The warning beeps immediately stop the barking! They do know when they have it off though so keep an eye on your doggo! I love how it shows which mode it is in, the sensitivity level, and better level! I'd definitely reccomend!
She ignores the collar. Guess I have to get a cow prod....not really.
It's a good item, it's just that my dog doesn't get it. I will try harder with a behavioral approach using the collar but better designed for her.

This collar works very well and does not shock your dog - just emits a noise which tends to make the dog stop barking.
