What does the backside look like? Is it flat or textured like the front of the bird house?

The back of the birdhouse is solid about 3/4's of the way up and then opens at the top for easy cleanout. There is also a notch on the back for hanging.

Adorable birdhouse!

I gave this to my son for a large tree outside his kitchen window. We weren't concerned it was missing a piece of twine to hang it. He attached it to the actual trunk. It's much more stable for birds to use and doesn't swing around! No inhabitants just yet, but it certainly looks like it could be viable. He loves it!

Happy Birdhouse

Smaller than it appeared to be. The opening is very small looks like sparrow or wren. Think this is more a decoration than a birdhouse.

So awesome for yard decor.

I hope some birds discover these but even if they don't; they look cool hanging on my trees. I bought 2. I bought 2 different ones last shipment. I plan on buying some more different ones in next shipment. They are heavy duty and cool looking.

Not as expected

The plug in the back won't come out so that it would be easy to clean the bird house. Didn't come with jute rope and not sure how it would attach anyway.
