My dog LOVES these! She gets real excited when we go to the box to get her one.
My dogs love cow hooves. I like that it keeps them occupied for days on end, thus this was the problem with these. The hooves that I usually get don't have any filling in them and they seem to last for days even dare I say a week. Unfortunately it seems that they were so bent on getting the filling out that they actually ate the hooves in one sitting. This concerns me because I feel like they are eating large pieces of the hoof instead of just chewing on it like they usually do. My dogs loved it but I won't be getting them with the filling in them anymore because it seems like they just try too hard to get the filling
We've gotten this before for our Beagle. He loves them but the last one we got broke up into sharp little shards, so probably will not be getting them again.
For $4 I thought it would be bigger. I’m it was tiny tiny. I was afraid to give it to my dog so I gave it away and she said her dog had it gone fast.
I love the light colored ones, with the brown stripes, but can never get them when I order. I always get the brown colored that are thinner and break off into sharp pieces. I don’t have that problem with the light colored with stripes. I contacted Chewy about this several months ago and they told me it was the luck of the draw on what is shipped. Quit showing this picture and leading customers to believe this is what they are getting. It isn’t. I stopped shopping at Chewys after that conversation
I’ve bought these numerous times both of my sons French bull dogs love them!
Max loved the hoof and he even took it to bed with him! However, he was able to chew through it and a couple of pieces broke off after much use and they were sharp pieces so I took it away from him. So buyer beware if your dog is a strong chewer.
My dog can't get enough of these. He chews and bites off pieces until there is nothing left to chew on. And very inexpensive - he'd chew on them even if there wasn't yummy filling.
While my girl seemed to really like this treat, it made a huge mess and the chunks that came off of it made me a little afraid that if she were to swallow the smaller pieces she would get intestinal issues.
This was my dog's Christmas present. Never gave him a hoof before. He loved it. It does break apart quite easily so now I have hoof pieces all over the place, but he likes chewing on them. Kinda disgusting, but, he's a dog, so...
