Treat Responsibly: Redbarn recommends a size slightly larger than your pets mouth. Natural bones may splinter or break causing injury to their stomach or teeth, so you should always supervise use. If the bone should splinter, break, or if your pet is trying to break the bone, remove it immediately. Throw away any pieces that could be swallowed by your pet as pieces can cause choking, gastric upset, or blockage.

  • Cuddle buddy?

    By on

I got two of these; one for each of my dogs. One of my dogs isn’t much of a chewer, but I couldn’t get one and leave him out. The dog that is a chewer LOVES them and goes nuts when I occasionally shove a treat or two inside the bone. He has taken to laying on or “cuddling with” one while he chews on the other. He switches between the two so they both get some love.

  • For Hard Chewing Dogs

    By on

My dogs go through most toys like chewing tornados, Most toys, be they rawhide, hard rubber or animal parts last from mere minutes to, at most, a couple days. White bones stand up to the chewing, to the bouncing (they make great noise), to the carrying outside and back in. They can be washed and they do not reduce to gummy messes or tufts of white batting scattered through the house.

  • Pieces break off, sharp marrow inside

    By on

I wish I'd read the last review before buying one of these. It's full of tiny, sharp fragments (dried marrow) that make a mess when they dissolve with saliva, and a sharp, 2" shard of the bone broke off after my Boston Terrier mix had been chewing it for about 15 minutes. I threw it in the garbage.

  • Perfect Hollow Bone

    By on Top 250 Contributor

My bulldog and Dobe love bones. I have a hard time finding ones without the stuffing that are large enough. These last at least 6 months with nightly chewing before wearing down until they can't hold it between their paws. I love putting my own stuffing in as I can control the ingredients. True to length.

  • Great for Old and Young

My old dog and new puppy both love these bones. You stuff them with chewy treats and they help keep both young and old dogs occupied.

  • Great bones that last even for HARD chewers

    By on

My dogs (black lab and belgian malinois) are both very aggressive chewers. VERY aggressive. They LOVE these bones and they last forever!! They usually lose them in the yard after a week or so, but they still have one hanging around that they fight over that's at least a month or two old. I just placed an order for more of these and will keep them on hand all the time now.

I’ve been using them for along time. I started using them in the 1990’s with my first group of dogs. I’ve even given them to a lot of my friends for there dogs. You can’t go wrong they can keep your dog busy when they starting getting themselves into trouble

  • A bit too hard

    By on

Our 7 month old 45 lb boxer has a hard time chewing on this. She likes treats that she can actually get a piece of, like a rawhide bone. This bone is so solid that she has not even made a dent in it n 2 weeks. She grabs it occasionally but no where near as enjoyable as a softer rawhide bone. And it's very heavy. We were hoping this wa a bit softer. It's as solid as a rock unfortunately. Probably more appropriate for a fully grown 70 pound dog.
