this will depend on the size of your pet's mouth. To prevent injury and choking hazard, please watch your pet while they enjoy this treat and be sure to choose the appropriate size chew. If this product splinters or develops sharp edges, throw it away immediately for your pet's safety.
Are these safe for an 11 week old puppy? A lab mix?

These bones are intended for Adult dogs. To protect their puppy teeth from falling out too early, pet parents should look for softer chews designed for “light chewers.” Light chewers are defined as nibblers who take their time savoring chews or who lose interest over time. While your puppy may not be a nibbler or disinterested in chew time, these designated chews are softer and less damaging to your puppy’s teeth. Ginormous supersized mega bones

I’ve ordered a lot of red barn knuckle bones over the years but never this particular type, but since the sterilized bones were becoming hard to get I decided on the ones with dried meat. (I stay away from basted because that’s just diarrhea waiting to happen). My main concern, since the sterilized bones were scarce is that it meant I wouldn’t be able to get large ones. I have some powerful chewers who decimate these bones in a day. I ordered the 20 pack and was surprised by the weight thinking, ok there has to be something else in here, because 20 bones has never weighed this much. When I opened the box I understood why. I’m willing to bet the smallest bone in this box is almost two pounds and the largest over five. The biggest bone is larger than my Rottweiler’s scull. And he has a big head. I’m very pleased with the size. How’s the test to see how well they hold up.

11 month old Golden Doodle loves this treat!

Thank you Chewy. Coco loves the knuckle bone dog treat. It is his “special occasion” treat. When I left him with our dog sitter for a week he was delighted to chew on his favorite treat. Time to reorder.

Went Crazy!

My dog smelt the Meaty Knuckle before I even took it it out of the box. We gave him it, would not stop chewing it until we had to take it away to give him a break! Last a while as well and barely made a dent in it after an hour and a half. However, I wish I knew how huge they came in. I order two because I thought they would be medium sized but it came in bigger than I thought! I will be ordering this just not as often considering how long they will last him considering he is only 40lbs

Dinosaur Bones?

So I’m not sure if I just got lucky to get these giant bones for my girls or if this is the norm. I will definitely order again to see if they are consistently huge. So the quality is good, my dogs like this brand of treats. These bones are for big dogs. I took pictures because I am trying to help others pick the right things for their pets. In one picture I added a standard size can of dog for to help with sizing.

Best bones around!

Only place I will buy these bones for my dogs. Have tried other sites but they weren't the quality that Chewy has. I hope that never changes.

WAY TOOO BIG

These bones are great only if you have a large dog. I have small dogs marked the smaller bones go hugh bones half the size of my dogs.

My dog LOVES these

When this was delivered, Gus, (my furbaby) could smell it immediately. He is an English Golden about 60pds. When I got it out of the box, I thought it was HUGE! It was a perfect size for Gus. I will order it again

large and long lasting

My dog is a chewer destroys all her toys. So I order edible chew treats. When this came it was huge!! But has lasted her the longest she loves it. And has been chewing on it for weeks. Well worth the money.
