Wow, these treats are a winner!

    By on

My dog snatches these puffs from my hand so fast I have to check to be sure I still have all my fingers. He sometimes stashes other treats around the house so he can enjoy them later. But he consumes these right away.

Easier to feed than regular pig ears

I like the fact that these are baked and crisp. Rather large for my dogs, but I can usually break them up without much trouble. I feel these may be safer.

    Too Brittle

    By on

Hi The dogs seem to like them well enough, but not sure if it's because they break up so easily and create a mess (something the dogs approve of because they like cleaning up). Can't give them to my Romayne tho because she loves to create a mess but disdains cleaning it up.

    Piggy Puffs

    By on

My fur babies love them but I don’t. The Piggy Puffs are way to big for them each time they have one. Tried cutting the Puffs in half and that didn’t go well..Dogs 1. Human 0.

    Neither pup would eat them

    By on

Not sure why not, but neither dog wanted anything to do with these. It was really odd, because one of them will eat most anything

    My dog loves these

    By on

These are big, Just a tiny bit greasy, but in a way a dog would love. My pup is a shepherd type mix and on the small side. She looks like a very petite Belgian Malinois. She would chew on them whole and just keep at them for days but I decided to cut them up. Put them in my bench top vice and took a reciprocal saw to them. (I'm lazy and that was a fast way to do it) The biggest cut down to three pretty big pieces and those end up being perfect for her. She is seriously the messiest dog I have ever had. Doesn't lower herself to licking up crumbs from anything (weird really). So I discovered with her weirdness, a really big thing leaves a big mess. So even regular pigs ears and big pig snouts get These are big, Just a tiny bit greasy, but in a way a dog would love. My pup is a shepherd type mix and on the small side. I can tell they take more time and effort to make though so I understand the cost. These are special treats for weekend celebrations and special good dogs, ha. … more

    Buddy Loves Them!

    By on

Our 10 month hound mix which is an avid chewer loves these. They last about 10 minutes. I would give it 5 stars if it lasted 30 minutes.

    Keep my power chewers entertained

    By on

Great experiences with all of the Redbarn products we've tried. I have a GSD and Aussie who are both power chewers. They were super excited to get their chompers on these and they lasted longer than many other similarly sized treats including regular pig ears. I will continue to buy.

    6 dogs 4 love 'em

    By on

No promises your dogs will love them. Some do - some don't - 4 of my 6 really enjoyed them though. Yes, they have a smell, but it's not any more overpowering than a bag of potato chips. I have hounds and danes so these aren't long term chewies, more of a slow snack, but they're actually big enough that they don't swallow them whole and take the time to gnaw at them.
