What is the space between bars

The bars of this gate are spaced between 2 - 2¾ inches apart.
Can you verify the the maximum width for openings. You are mentioning up to 35" for width of opening. Another website says Expands to fit openings between 29-37 inches · Stands 37 inches tall for the same model. Thank you.

The Regalo Extra Tall Arched Decor Gate is adjustable to accommodate door openings between 29-35”. The gate is extra tall at 36” high.
I have a 36” opening will this gate work does the tension knobs extend for the extra inch?

This safety gate is adjustable to accommodate openings from 29 to 35 inches wide.
Can the door stay open on it's own or does it automatically swing shut?

The door is not auto closing and must be shut manually for it to latch.

incorrect size

Bought this gate because in the name on chewy it says “35 in”. Every other gate, this number is the height of said gate. So I bought this thinking it was 35 inches tall. Nope. It’s 35 inches wide and 36 inches tall. Then put “36 inches” in the name!! Now this is the second gate I have to get refunded for. So annoying

Was promising .... Wrong

I was hopeful for this gate! Reading reviews, recommendations, I thought this was work well for my purposes. I haven't even had this for a month, and it's broken. Snapped right on the a weld line. Very cheaply made and I'm very disappointed.

Pretty Gate

It is a pretty bronze gate. Great height for a mixed bread German Shepard. We had the shorter on also but it was shorter and she’d put her paws upon trying to get out. This one works better!

Nice gate for the price

I had a homemade gate in the doorway before before installing this 1. This 1 looks so much better. Also much nicer than those cheap plastic gates.

GREAT GATE

I have an Aussie and a standard poodle that have to be separated when we aren’t planning for a litter. This gate is sturdy and works well! Love the arch so it looks decorative in the home. 10/10 recommend

A great solution!

This gate is a great solution to creating a safe space for my dog. I'm renting a home so I like that it's tension mounted for a no-damage option. It's tall and sturdy. I'm 5'7" and it reaches to my hip height. The gate swings both in an out. Delivery was quick and the install was easy.

I needed the taller gate

I got a new lab puppy with paws the size of Montana! So I love this higher gate! And it’s somewhat attractive. And adults can work the child proof locks!

Sturdy gate

Nice looking gate, the quality is excellent. The only thing I'd change is to make the gate itself a little wider but yet it's still not a deal breaker.
