Wanted something more comfortable for my dog—But it Does not keep dog from getting to tail. Also Extremely difficult to get inflated “pinch” tube is so small. Just use the cone of shame it’s the best way to keep wound from them ( noted some dogs can escape even that)
Did not prevent licking wound
I was really hoping this collar would work for my dog. He is a 1 yr old labradoodle, 65 lbs. The collar went on really easily and I loved how he could access his food and water without too much trouble. After about an hour of wearing it, I watched him easily twist around and lick his wound where he was neutered. Ugh! Back on went the cone. Maybe this would work if the wound was closer to the dog's head, but not when it is on the other end.
better than the cone
Bought this for our 77# English Golden Retriever for after her spay surgery. Seemed a lot more comfortable than the Elizabethian cone that the vet supplied. Lets her eat and drink (almost) normally and she fits through doorways better. Another bonus is that it doesn't hurt when she conks into us.... She was able to reach the very bottom of the incision so we had to wait a week before we tried again!!
Nice collar
I read reviews about various models and was concerned effectiveness due to his size. So I choose this one, with the largest diameter. Sadly, he is too long and flexible. Didn't realize how flexible he was!

My dog had the collar off in seconds. I feel as though i wasted my money on this item.

I would not recommend this product. I ordered 2 as I thought it would be great. Have a dog that had surgery so ordered in time for him to have it at vet instead of the cone of shame. It won’t hold air. Vet clinic staff has had to keep airing it up. The other one doesn’t hold air either. Extremely disappointed! Most expensive and definitely not worth the extra!
No more cone of shame for Kooper!
My dog had 4 stitches on his hind flank due to another dog nipping him. He destroyed the e collar from the vet in about 1 day. We tried a soft e collar but the side view was so restrictive for him. This inflatable did the trick. When we’d take it off to give him a break he actually came back to have it put back on! He eats everything so we were worried about him pooping it, but it’s pretty tough and he didn’t! It was easy to clean and he seemed to love it as a pillow!
Waste of money
Dog destroyed this within minutes!!! Put it on my pup, went up to take a shower, it was in shreds when I came out!!! It was also hard to blow up.
Worked for my mini aussie
The ecollar tramatized my Aussie and turned him into a bucking broncho. I was afraid he would harm his neuter incision. I tried wrapping a rolled towell around his neck and duct taping it, but it would loosen up and he could get to his incision. This recovery collar worked great and he never minded having it on 24 hours a day. He could eat, walk, and loved not having his peripheral vision blocked. Puppy happy...mama happy!
Worth the money
I bought 2 from another company and they didn’t last. I love this one it’s great quality
