5/8" Not 1", Not durable
By SybbieDad on Nov 9, 2020
The lead is 5/8" wide, NOT 1" as advertised. That was a let down, but I thought that since it was also smooth, the lower weight would make it easier to handle. The first time we took this lead out, it started to fray. It is now three month is very light use and it has fallen apart. Do not buy this unless you are very gentle with it (i.e. do not use it with a dog that is not already highly trained)

Awesome line if used for dogs already trained to longer lines.
By horsegirl on Sep 21, 2020
I have used these lines for years and love them. They are light for a reason. If your dog chews on the leash this is not the one for you. I use this to transition dogs from a heavier line to a lighter one and then eventually off leash. It's not meant for dogs that do not understand how to be on a long leash and not for dogs that chew on their leashes. This pairs beautifully when in the last stages of e-collar training.

Long But Works
By NoDentalIssues on Nov 1, 2020 Top 500 Contributor
It is definitely a nice long leash for us since we don't have a yard. I will say it tends to start disintegrating fast. We cannot leave it in the rain for fear of it fraying.

Strong Attractive and Functional
By Dyandria on Nov 6, 2020
Very pleased with this. It allows my puppy to believe she's not even on a leash because it's so lightweight, yet strong. Now she's able to run a distance

description misleading
By sgtusmc1 on Aug 31, 2020
Product description misleading states 1 inch wide this is false for the lead is only 5/8 inch wide and does state that on the packaging. This is very thin material, would not recommend this for a puller or a novice dog. I am very disappointed in Remington for promoting such a shoddy product.

Works perfectly
By Khaleesismom on Oct 8, 2020
It’s exactly what we were wanting and expected. It’s long enough to cover a big part of our yard. It’s thin and light so not too much weight for our little puppy.

Lightweight and dries quickly
By BeachDog on Jun 28, 2020
We’ve had this for a few years now, primarily to use at the beach, where dogs must be leashed and we like to have a little control when less friendly dogs are around. It’s light weight and less bulky than the cotton leads, and dries out quickly which is especially helpful when it gets wet and sandy. Lately we’ve been using it to let the dog out at night, too, since there have been many coyote sightings in the area.

Not the right choice
By RosiesDaddy on Aug 5, 2020
This purchase was a mistake - at least for my dog and me. I had it attached to her collar for about 30 seconds and she had already chewed it off. No kidding.

Dog chewed through it in 5 minutes
By Cooper on Apr 22, 2020
Took the dog out to the park to try this new long leash so he could run freely in on-leash park... he ate through it in 5 minutes and we had to carry him home.

was expecting wider product
By DougtheDog on Jan 30, 2020
so I must have missed the width in the description on this one too narrow for my purposes. it is fine other wise . I just donated it to my local shelter.
