Slip lead review.

These slip leads are great because they're made well and fit any size dog. My local shelter uses these on a daily basis to securely walk the dogs.

The search is over

I've tried a great many leashes & leads, from retractable to adjustable; the array is dizzying. This Remington rope dog slip lead though, is the one. It's held up great in terms of durability, allows for really easy management and retention, and makes slipping it off a breeze too. Couldn't ask for a better product.

Slip lead for dog

I have about 1/2 dozen of this type of slip lead and love them. They are adjustable, keeping your dog safe and secure.

Great for Lab's!

I loved this leash! Only complaint was that it got wet once and leather "stop" started slipping. Easy to use and didn't rub the hair around my dogs neck. Also was super sturdy.

Remington 6 ft slip lead

We bought one exactly like this for our new puppy in 2020 because of the need to run out quickly for potty training. We decided to get another one for our new puppy in 2021! We find these to be super fast and easy for potty runs. We don’t even own any collars because we use the slip leads for our quick trips to potty and we use harnesses for longer walks. We keep tags on our harnesses. We also accidentally ordered a 3 foot long slip lead and we keep it in our car just in case we have a need for it when we are out traveling (our puppy actually destroyed his harness on a trip to our vet once). It’s a great thing to have for quick trips out.

Not My Dog's Favorite

I was looking for a shorter slip lead that would stay in place better than the longline one I have. I was a little unsure of the thickness because my dog is small but it had better reviews than the slightly thinner ones. While this one does stay in place pretty well, the leathery piece that you slide up and down to hold or release the metal loop is pretty difficult to move. You have to really pull on it to move it up and down the leash, which also makes it harder to loosen if it ends up being too tight. My dog gets very excited with his other leashes but seems wary of this one, so I've stopped using it.

Good product but not for me.

It’s a good quality, it does what it’s supposed too but it twists and gets kinked. Gets annoying after awhile.

Now my favorite leash

I love love love this leash. My Max is off leash more than on. Yes, he's that well behaved. But I always have a leash with me. When needed, it's quick to slip over his head, nothing to clip. I love it so much I've ordered another ...waiting waiting waiting for it's arrival. It's been almost a week
