I purchased this because I have lots of otocinclus and corydoras in my tank. I keep my tank really clean, but didn't want my catfish to starve. I purchased this as an algae replacement to keep them full and fed. Easy to make in the quantity you want and need with little to no waste. My fish took about a day to figure it out, but since then they flock to it. I highly recommend this product.
got this on a recommendation, loads of great nutrients listed on ingredients. Easy to make and store. They went nuts over it. It disintegrates & floats down in tiny particles that the fry can eat too!
This is the only food my Otos will eat. Easy to mix and keeps in the fridge. My Otos have been living for over 2 years on this stuff and they seem super healthy
I like how easy this is to use and mix. My fish and snails seem to enjoy it. My only complaint is the smell is STRONG.
If you’re looking for a food that you Otocinclus Catfish will eat, then look no further. My otos weren’t eating algae pellets, and they were creating a weird biofilm in the tank. This stuff is so good. Slowly dissolves the gel, and they whole way through my otos were cleaning it up. It’s easily left in the tank and some of my guppies will eat them. Overall, get it.
The jury's still out on this one. Boiling water has to be added to a measured about of product, cooled then frozen. It's not super convenient and it's taking my fish (otocinclus) a while to discover this in the tank. Not sure if it's worth it.
I purchased otocinclus less than two weeks ago and they cleaned the algae off my fish tank so well that there’s no food left for them. I purchased this. I added approximately two parts boiling water to one part product. I smeared it on a chum bucket decor that I purchased from Chewy. I waited about one hour for it to dry. My pic (sorry it’s blurry) shows mo ottos going to town. It took about three hours for them to discover it. Plankton would be thrilled. Finally some customers for the chum bucket!
fish love it easy to use, I use it for my snello too!
After doing some heavy research and reading positive reviews I was really excited about this product. I followed the ratio on the container and dipped my rock in the liquid (Cory Co-Op advice). I waited an hour and a half before setting my Repashy covered rock in my tank. I then waited to see if any of my fish were interested.. and not a single soul was lol. It then started flaking off my rock and little particles started to cloud my water. I called Chewy and talked to Donte to help me with my return. Completely professional! 5 stars for Chewy 1 star for the product.
Got this for my panda garras and they wouldnt even touch it! but the snails liked it.
