resco ergonomic
at first glance I thought the teeth were too far apart, I was wrong. my cat is enjoying his combing more and more. comb does a good job, my cats coat smooth and silky. The ergonomic handle is not that helpful to me but I would recommend this product.
Cat getting used to it
I initially ordered the coarse comb. My cat hated it and kept away from me for two days. Chewy sent me the intermediate comb as a replacement. At first my cat avoided it, but she seemingly has gotten used to it. I'm curious how she does going forward. Okay, while typing she came to be held. I used the comb on her. She didn't flinch. I think we're home free. The comb itself is nice looking. A little larger than I expected, but it works well.
excellent comb
This comb is very well made and easy to use. The handle is weighted and designed to be held comfortably. I goes through my dogs coat easily.
Amazing and effective
I have a doodle and that comb does the job!! Goes easily through small matted area. Love it and would highly recommend
Love my resco comb!!
I am currently studying to become a certified dog groomer, and my Mentor at the Grooming Salon where I get my hands on training has used this comb for about 14 years.Every groomer there loves it.As soon as I received mine and tried it,i loved it! So easy to hold on to,the handle is so smooth.I hope mine lasts as long as my Mentors!
Matting savior
A retired groomer friend came to my rescue with her 20+ year old Resco #80 comb for my golden doodles’ matted tales. It works! A patient sitting session with the dogs and the comb/pick worked just great and once the mats were removed, this comb makes maintenance a breeze.
Ergonomic?
For the life of me I can’t figure out why this is called ergonomic....I found it more difficult to maneuver than most combs. Having no handle forces you to grip the top...and to run the comb through thick hair you need to use your whole hand to grasp it. Consequently, manipulation comes from your wrist....huh?..where is the ergonomic? Very expensive when you can get the same results from most combs. That said, it is extremely well made and does a good job ...just not any easier than any other comb. Wouldn’t purchase again.
Fancy fur for all
I love the comb. Nice and sturdy with two sizes of comb tines. Terje looks beautiful. I have some bites- indicating her disapproval with the process.
Great comb
I bought this as a gift for a large dog. I have the same comb with smaller tooth spacing and it works great for my spaniel mix. Very well made.
Amazing comb
I love the wide tooth spacing on this comb. It goes right thru my goldendoodle’s fur. Also saw how well this comb is made on ‘How it’s made” show. Well constructed.
