The difference between the two is which size breed of dogs they're recommended for. The Small is recommended for dogs 10-50 pounds and the Large are for dogs over 50 pounds.

good for the price

These seem to be one of the better nail clippers, and are easy to sharpen with a round steel needle file.

Not impressive

Feel and look nice but don't cut well. Get the little red miller's instead. They look cheap but cut well.

Doesn't Make Clean Cuts

I have a Cane Corso with huge nails, and these clippers feel good in your hand but they do not make clean cuts. I tried it on my German Shepherd and it did no better and my daughter tried it on her smaller dog, and no good. I do not recommend them.

Awkward bulky and dull

I usually love this company’s product but these clippers are terrible. Hard to get a grip on the nail and not sharp at all.

The best for smaller dogs

I believe these were the most expensive but well worth the money. I can tell how much I’m going to cut because there is no guard. The guard allows too much cut w a smaller dog’s nails. These are hefty & will probably last a good while. Great purchase!

Nupro and Clippers GOOD - packing BAD

The clippers did a good job cutting the dog's nails, It may be a bit hard for someone with weaker hands to operate.

not good for small dog

I bought this "small" nail clipper to use for a small dog. This is much to thick and heavy to use on small nails. The blades are so thick you can't get cut small nails or get into small space for dew claw...

Awesome clippers, my Eva's nails are very thick. These clippers did the job, very well made. Worth every penny. Respectfully, Johnny B
