I recently got to foster cat which my cat did not love. she hissed at them when they got close or even looked at her and she’d spend 99% of her time under the bed hiding. this is supposed to work immediately, and it does. As soon as she had some, she began to approach them on her own. she now eats with them without a problem, whereas before I had to put her food under the bed with her. the other day, i even caught them all laying on my bed together. they’re not in love, but she’s shown amazing progress with the help of this. she also is a big fan of the box it came in
I have a relatively laid back boy. Even so, we’ve been through a lot of changes over the past year: moving across the country, new schedules, new apartments, and soon? A new house. For a cat, my guy has handled the transition to transition to more transitions with a lot of grace. Even so, my couch potato has started exhibiting stress behaviors (ripping at his fur, frantic meowing, separation anxiety). The vet wanted to offer sedatives or SSRIs. I am a big fan of trying OTC first before putting my animals on prescription medication. If it’s a matter of lifestyle change or supplements? I’ll try it out. That being said, these drops don’t do a darn thing for my cat. I give the drops at night with his dinner. No change. No noticeable benefit. I’ve only been using the supplement for a few days. If I see an improvement over time, I’ll update the review. If I were you, try it out, just to be sure. The positive reviews may apply to your pet.
I’ve been using Rescue for 6 mos for 3 cats. I rescued young Jake last summer from the street corner. He had pneumonia it turned out when we took him to the vet. He was a very sick boy. Between treatment for pneumonia & then neutering him it was 4 mos before he could meet the 2 girls cats. Upon introduction the girls were frightened of Jake & he wanted to chase them & get aggressive when they ran. He was smaller but he didn’t know that! We kept them separated mostly & tried everything to help them live peacefully in the same house. Nothing except Rescue worked for all 3! We started all 3 on Canin Calm RX dry food just not sure how much it’s working but afraid to stop it & get a negative effect! With Rescue I mix it with their wet Medleys which they beg for, & all 3 relax within 30 minutes. We still separate them when we can’t supervise, use other behavioral supports, including diffusers, CBD chews for Jake, but Rescue works best to relax all 3 for a much needed time out!
Bought this for our kittens for calming so I can cut their nails. Be careful. I gave it to my 8 month old kitten, he weighs 8-9 pounds. Gave him there 4 drops, he snoozed all day. He wasn't harmed at all, but it scared me as he slept so hard. Lol.
I had personally used this brand’s Stress Relief lozenges prior to becoming a fur mom. So when I got a puppy a couple of years ago I decided to give this a try. It worked wonders! I give it to Max before long car rides, grooming appointments, and sometimes before bed. I really think it helped him get through those puppy fear periods! Fast forward to two months ago when I adopted an 8 week old kitten >>> I had no idea just how much energy a tiny ball of fluff could possess. Especially after daily potty time at 5:30AM, when Lil Miss would persuade the easily duped Max into believing that my bedroom was their playground and my bed their trampoline. I started to put a few drops in a bit of her squeezable/lickable treat and voila! She still persuades the dumb dog to chase her but now after about 10 minutes she’s on the bed ready to go back to sleep. This could easily be put over a bit of dry food but adding it to a high value treat ensures that it’s consumed all at once. With Max I put a few drops on something absorbent, like a freeze dried treat, or on something flat like a small piece of jerky or on chunk of string cheese. That way it’s eaten all at once. It must be tasteless, because Max is really picky and he’s always happy to watch me add it to his treat and gobble it down. He’s never made a face when tasting it. Same with Lil Miss, she doesn’t seem to realize or care that something has been added to her treat.
I tried this on a cat that had lost her human right in front of her and then was moved around. She just hid in a ball position. Now after a couple drops in her water daily, she lays in a more relaxed position.
Seems to help my cat who suffers from stress cystitis. She is very picky with food, so I am glad she will eat her wet food with this mixed in.
I have used this in the past with mixed results, tried it for my new puppy who gets very anxious when left alone and it had no apparent effect. Disappointing
This herbal really helps my Greyhound with thunder storms and fireworks. Calms him from the stress.
the shelter loved it, Duckie a cat was as the shelter said mortified, we gave her an inaba churu bite with the rescue remedy and she was alot less mortified it surprisingly works!!!!
