It really helps decrease misdirected aggression

My current pair of kitties are extremely sensitive to tone of voice, the word “no”, noises, and almost anything new. My first set of kitties were impervious to all of this. They are littermates and if one gets scared the other one does too but shows it by attacking the more docile one. If the docile one gets scared that the other one is mad, even when she isn’t, he reacts in a way that makes her attack him. We’re not talking normal play or dominance attacking, we’re talking all out screaming, fur-flying, running around the house and them not getting along for an entire week with some of these events. I still have to separate them for a little bit but I give them a 10th of a dropper full of this each, which they don’t mind taking, and things are better within a few hours. Much better than separation for a week and then a slow re-introduction. It can make them sleepier than usual if I give them an extra dose. This has saved our household for sure. Thank you for making this product!

Have used in the past

I used to be able to find this item in health food stores, but not lately. Glad Chewy carries the pet version. I used this for years with dalmatian rescues to help calm them and get them used to new surroundings. It always worked well. Now I have a young husky mix that despite lots of runs and walks and playing sometimes will not settle down in the evening and relax. This is the perfect solution. I do think it works well.

Didn’t work for my cat.

My cat Puddin’ really hates cat carriers since we moved cross country a few years ago. Being in cat carriers now gives him a lot of anxiety. Decided to buy some of this to try before his last vet visit and it didn’t help the poor little guy whatsoever. I gave it to him as directed, and he was just as anxious and scared. I will try it on my other cats before vet visits to see if it works on them. But it’s unfortunate it didn’t work on my cat that needs it the most. :’(

RESCUE PET is Amazing!

I add this to treats or my pup's water bowl during thunderstorms. It is especially helpful during 4th of July fireworks to help keep her calm. I love that it doesn't knock her out or sedate her, and it is made with clean ingredients like flower essences. I recommend these drops to all my friends with pets!

Not sure if it works

I took this to the vet during my kitty’s first appointment. The vet wasn’t really for or against it. I’ve used it once before the vet appointment but didn’t notice any calming effects..still had to to do magic tricks to get her in her carrier. I’ll continue to use it in her food occasionally as it doesn’t hinder her appetite.

Useless!!!!!!

Great that it’s worked for some, but it did NOTHING for my dog’s midnight barking and agitation. I’m writing this while he barks away after two doses and I can’t sleep. Regret wasting money on this. Snake oil as far as I’m concerned.

Unintended Side Benefit

It's a long read, but it might be worth it if your pup is incontinent. I add 6 - 7 drops of this to ~ 48 oz of water for our youngest pup. She came to us with some severe issues (attacked our 9 lb Dachshund the first day, dog reactive, distrusting of humans, skittish, and incontinent due to a pelvic bladder as well as submissive urination). Our trainer recommended this to help our pup throughout the day. While it doesn't completely knock her out, it Does temper her enough to be bearable. The side benefit, though, is that it's seriously curbed her incontinence! I looked up the ingredients and the Rock Rose and Clematis are used for incontinence. She used to be on Incurin and Proin and is now off of both of those. 15 accidents in one day was not uncommon for her. 2 or 3 while on Proin and Incurin still occurred. Chewy was out of the Proin, and the Incurin was delayed (not Chewy's fault) so she was without for a week. I noticed she was not having accidents unless I completely ignored her pleas to go out (it's hard to tell sometimes with her). When I skipped the Rescue Remedy (RR) 2 days in a row there were 7 accidents on the 3rd day. I didn't put 2 and 2 together, though, and went back to using the RR, unaware of what was happening. The medication came in a couple days later, but she was back to having 0 accidents so I held off with administering it, thinking maybe she'd grown out of the pelvic bladder and perhaps it shifted into place. I forgot the RR again a week later and there were 5 accidents. This time I caught on. I've tested it a couple times and sure enough, RR affects her level of incontinence! She is off the Proin and Incurin 100% and I ensure she always gets water with the RR in it. 1 drop : 6 oz is approximately our measurement. Natural remedies are tough to nail down, and the RR instructions aren't the best. I gave 4 drops at once and she experienced severe hyperactivity and nervousness so I titrated down until I found the best dosage for her.

Works well

I've been using this product for many years and it works well. For extreme anxiety pets I would recommend something from the vet but for stressful times like repairs in your home etc, this works well.

Whether for lessening an asthma attack or any stressor, this always works for my cats. Try it before you judge it. Less is more, so follow the dosage...

Came Highly Recommended by a Friend.

I have a headstrong Westie & the groomers are finding her hard to handle. Rescue Remedy was recommended by a friend. I have not tried it yet, but I sure hope she was right & it works to calm my puppy down.
