Worked Great For Two Traveling Cats!

By CrazyCatz on Sep 29, 2017

We just moved from the East Coast to Texas. We took our two 11 year old cats in the car with us for a 17 hour ride to our new home. They hate being in the car and our girl will meow until she can't make another sound. There was no way I was going to let her do this for 17 hours. The vet recommend Rescue Remedy to help calm her so she isn't so scared. I put one drop on a treat for her and one for her brother to ensure they both got the full dose. A few hours later I gave them another drop. It helped her so much! She meowed a couple of times and then snuggled down with her brother for the trip. We stayed in a couple of motels and it also helped with them being in new surroundings. Her brother is very nervous in new places and he calmed right down to rest. There was no way they would have made this trip without Rescue Remedy. … more

have used for 3 wks and no improvement so far!

By Katie on Sep 25, 2017

was hoping this would help a dog I just rescued with separation anxiety. While i worked with a dog trainer on his anxiety/insecurity issues. I used as directed and saw no improvement at all with his anxiety after 3 weeks of use. He still cries, whines, barks, urinates, bangs when inside a crate. He even has destroyed a 2nd crate and gotton loose in the house while I left him for a 1hr. I wasn't expecting his anxiety to disappear with Rescue Remedy, But I was hoping it would take the edge of a little. … more

I'm a veterinarian and have a thunderstorm phobic dog. We have done everything over the years to help her calm down. Thundershirts, Adaptil collar, music, covered her crate, medications (several!) we are down to the Adaptil collar and this. I think the collar is helping the most, but I know my Mom's dog responded very favorably to this almost 15 years ago! We just started with my girl so time will tell. We've only had one storm since we ordered it. Overwhelmingly, even as a vet, I like the non-medication options as they seem to work the best and have the least side effects:)

I hate to give this product three stars, but it does not work on my dog. Was excited to find something to help my scaredy baby, this is not it. Followed directions and gave second dose after 30 minutes, no difference. Nonetheless, it may work on yours.

  • Helps my cat

My cat started life as a feral. We adopted her last June when she was about six months old. She does not allow us to pick her up, but she is definitely loving and happy to be with us. We need to get her to a vet to have follow-up vaccines. She is extremely resistant to being trapped in the carrier and we have so far failed twice to keep our vet appointments, even with 3 weeks on the drops and a calming collar. That failure aside, I can definitely report a change in her ability to be handled. Also she sleeps more and eats more. But not a real success.
