I live in an apartment complex and there is a lot of pavement that Percy runs on. So far this has been my favorite to put on him. He does like to lick it but I try to take my time on it so that I make sure he can’t. I work it into my own skin care routine and treat it like a spa day. Unfortunately I don’t do it as much as I should. M
The container that the cream is in maybe small, but it packs a a serious punch! I scooped a little bit out with two fingers and rubbed it on my cats back where she had dermititis, I did this only twice! After two uses her skin was smooth and going back to a light pink color instead of being red and scaly, I absolutely would suggest this product to anyone that has a pet with the same issues trust me it's well worth the $20!
It’s a good cream but it doesn’t do as much for my Chinese Crested’s itchy spots as I had hoped.
I am disappointed I purchased this product. I like the ingredients a lot but the product when applied is kind of greasy, does not absorb well and left white ointment spots all over the dogs bed.
I almost never leave reviews and thought this warranted one. My dog has been bald in certain areas since 2017, and it’s now 2022. Within one week of using this he started regrowing hair where it’s never been in this time. His skin and fur is naturally dry and I’ve tried so many other creams, but the other creams seem to leave his skin oily and he tends to lick it off, and many other have coconut oil which doesn’t work for him. This is the only one that has promoted fur growth, and he hasn’t tried to lick off, it’s the o Lu one he begs me to keep putting on him. Sometimes his skin gets so dry that he starts to crack and get a bit scabby. We’ve tried fish oils and other things to help with his nutrition and injections for his allergies but his skin never seems to get better. This has been the only thing that works. It’s been four weeks and it’s still working incredibly well!!!
Used this on bald areas of my cats fur, resulted in a rash developing
I rarely submit reviews either, but I had to comment on this wonderful product. We were desperate to help our beautiful 4 year old calico cat, Tallulah. She developed scabs on her head, neck and back. We didn't want to, but tried antibiotics and steroids at the vet 3 tries. Every time the scabs and scaly patches returned. I bought this product based on the reviews and rubbed the cream directly on her scabs. She was hesitant so I was only able to do it once a day at first. The directions say use twice a day. After 2-3 days used once a day, all the scabs disappeared. Her itching stopped. Unbelievable results. I can't thank you enough for helping our Tallulah with this amazing product and thank you Chewy.com for providing this product as an option to help a cat's skin.
Can't really say yet how well it works since our cat has a tendency to lick it off, but the quality and ingredients of this product is very good. The 2-oz is a very small container but the cream is so thick a little covers a large area. First time purchasing this brand, and I am impressed. I would purchase again.
To start, I rarely write reviews. I am so smitten with this product, that I had to spread the word! My pup had a huge open wound on the back of her neck when we got her. It took 8 months to heal and left a massive bald spot. We live at altitude, so the sun and dry weather really dries it out and makes it itchy for her. She would scratch and reopen it all the time. I’ve tried so many methods over the years to soothe the skin, so she could have some relief. I honestly bought this on a whim, thinking - I bet Manuka honey wouldn’t hurt! In less than a week, we went from an irritated spot, to soft supple skin! She barely even goes to scratch it! I am so over the moon that she has relief, aaaand it smells really nice! The price point may seem high, but a little bit goes a long way. Totally worth it!!
