Firmly press the cap down to puncture the seal on the Revolution Plus tube; a clicking sound will confirm that the cap has successfully punctured the seal. Remove the cap and check to ensure that the tip of the tube is open. To administer the product, part the hair on the back of the animal at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze the tube 3 or 4 times to empty its entire contents directly on to the skin in one spot. Keeping the tube squeezed, drag it away from the liquid and lift to remove. Check the tube to ensure that it is empty. Do not massage the product into the skin. Due to alcohol content, do not apply to broken skin. Avoid contact between the product and fingers. Do not apply when the hair coat is wet. Stiff hair, clumping of hair, hair discoloration, or a slight powdery residue may be observed at the treatment site in some cats. These effects are temporary and do not affect the safety or effectiveness of the product. Discard empty tubes in your ordinary household refuse.

Revolution Plus builds upon the proven 5-in-1 protection of Revolution, veterinarians’ #1 trusted pest treatment for cats—PLUS it now protects against ticks, too.

Revolution Plus broadens the scope of protection for cats and kittens, inside and out, against fleas, ticks, ear mites, roundworms, hookworms, and heartworms. Get the 6-in-1 Protection Basics
Parasites are not outdoor-only. Fleas, ticks, ear mites, intestinal worms, and heartworms can get into any home. Parasites hitchhike indoors on other pets or creatures, on shoes and clothes, or get inside through doors and windows. Cats and kittens of all lifestyles (indoor-only, indoor/outdoor, outdoor-only) can regularly come in contact with parasites and their health risks. With one monthly dose, RRevolution Plusprovides broad-spectrum coverage against common pests that both indoor and outdoor cats need.
Revolution Plus is a simple-to-apply, quick-drying, small-volume, monthly topical solution—so there’s no need to hassle with larger volume topicals or giving your cat a pill!
The most commonly reported side effects in clinical trials were temporary loss of appetite and drowsiness. No side effects were noted when Revolution Plus was used along with commonly prescribed veterinary products.
While there was a low incidence of side effects in clinical trials, it’s important to report to your veterinarian any unusual signs or activity in your cat or kitten after applying the product.
Revolution Plus is proven safe for cats and kittens as young as 8 weeks of age, weighing 2.8 lbs or greater. The safe use of Revolution Plus has not been established in kittens less than 8 weeks old or breeding, pregnant, or lactating cats.
Since one of the active ingredients (sarolaner) in Revolution Plus is a member of the isoxazoline class, use with caution in cats with a history of neurologic disorders such as seizures. Revolution Plus has been administered in conjunction with numerous cat medications and may be given to cats with adult heartworm infection.
It’s always best to talk with your veterinarian about the right protection for your furry friend. But a good start is looking at our comparison chart to see how the Revolution Plus label compares to that of other pest preventatives. Only Revolution Plus provides broad-spectrum, 6-in-1 protection against fleas, ticks (black-legged or deer tick, Gulf Coast tick, and American dog tick), ear mites, roundworms, hookworms and heartworms, with unique dual action against fleas and ear mites.
Though certain ticks are more prominent in certain areas (i.e., Gulf Coast tick in Southeastern and mid-Atlantic states; American dog tick east of the Rocky Mountains and Pacific coast; black-legged or deer tick across eastern U.S.), cat owners should be vigilant with year-round tick and other pest protection in all 50 states to ensure cats of all lifestyles (indoor-only, indoor/outdoor, outdoor-only) are properly protected with broad-spectrum preventative medicine such as Revolution Plus.

Revolution Plus has been a game-changer for my feline friend! The convenience of a topical solution makes it a breeze to administer, and the fact that it covers a broad spectrum of parasites, including fleas, ticks, ear mites, and more, gives me peace of mind. The orange box is tailored for cats weighing 5.6-11 lbs, making it easy to find the right dosage. I appreciate that Revolution Plus not only prevents infestations but also treats existing ones. It's a one-stop solution for my cat's well-being. The application is straightforward, and my cat doesn't seem bothered by it, which is a huge plus. Knowing that my furball is protected against a range of nasties makes this product a staple in my pet care routine. Highly recommended for cat owners looking for a reliable and comprehensive parasite control solution!
I have always used Chewy for my cat's needs, food, cat items, etc. but I will never use Chewy for prescription orders. I have made numerous attempts to get them to send me the Revolution Plus with having to go to the Vet, mail in the Prescription (why when the Vet can call it in) and my order is paid, but nothing is sent and this going on several weeks. Not a good place to buy prescription meds. No one seems to have settled this issue and I am really disappointed. I guess I have to cancel the order? Why? Where is my order?
We have used Revolution Plus for years. The last few vials that we have used have leaked all over my hand when I click down the cap to puncture the tip. Did something change?? This never used to happen before. Not much good to the cat when half the vial dribbles onto my hand and doesn’t make it onto the cat. That said, Revolution Plus itself is a great monthly preventative. I just do not understand why recently the vials keep leaking.
For the longest time I had my indoor/ outdoor cat on Frontline and it seemed to be doing OK, until she went missing in the woods for a few weeks. When we finally found her, she had the WORST fleas (as well as probably other stuff) so when we brought her into the vet, they recommended this product. After purchasing a few months supply for the vet, I realized you can also get this on Chewy, for a better price with auto renew. You can't beat that! I love that this product protects against more than just fleas as well. We even started using the kitten verision on the newest member of our family too.
Pricing is among the lowest and customer service is the BEST in class. Will continue to shop Chewy for our two dogs and two cats. All are "rescues". If you're reading this you love your pets. Don't be an "uppity moron"- Spay and Neuter. Pure bred is cruelly bred and owners of AKC certified are complicit in animal abuse and maltreatment. Shut down breeders and puppy mills, we have more than enough dogs and cats that need homes.
Used a different (over-the-counter) brand the first month, and while I did see dead fleas, I continued to see live ones as well. Three weeks later I used this in combination with a home spray, and have not seen any live ones since. It also seemed to dry quicker than the OTC brand, and did not seem to irritate my cat.
I've been using this exact brand given to me by my vet for over a year. I just decided to try out Chewy's pharmacy for the first time. Unfortunately, my cat is now losing her fur on the back of her neck. This has never happened before in the past 15 months I've had her and used this treatment. Very alarming and I don't feel comfortable using the rest of these doses.
Tried regular flea Frontline for 2 months and tons of fleas everyday. It didn't even slow the fleas down. One dose of prescription Revolution plus and fleas gone. 10 days since dose and not a flea in sight. Expensive but worth it to be rid of fleas. The true test of this product will be if it still works after it is used for 12 months and longer.
This is the best flea medicine I’ve used on my cats. My home became infested with fleas due to a roommate’s dogs, and the 2 other flea medications I used on my cats barely seemed to help. After applying Revolution, within 24 hours fleas were dropping off my cats and I was combing dead ones out. I also liked how it wasn’t an oily product to apply, it stayed in one spot on my cats’ neck and they didn’t seem uncomfortable like with the other medications. I’m hoping this helps us get rid of our flea problem for good!
So far I’ve wasted 2 (expensive) doses & the trust of my cat! I recommend there be a HUGE sign included in the packaging, saying that a large portion of the top of each monthly dose, needs to be cut off with scissors, before applying it to your cat! Meanwhile, my cat is still itchy. :/
