We purchased this because we live in a wooded area and after applying a dose to the back of his neck as instructed, on April 27th, 2022, within five days we discovered a tick embedded on the top of his head. As you can imagine, we felt horrible for him and extracted the tick, applied Neosporin and today, May 21st, he still has that scab! He's a Pomeranian and we have him groomed on a regular basis so we can monitor for fleas and ticks. He's an older dog, and we find this completely unacceptable. We also bathe him with a flea and tick shampoo in between doses. We had better luck with another brand that doesn't include heartworm protection so it's back to the drawing board. FYI, this is the brand our ex-vet recommended so we'll check with the new vet and get their opinion. It's going to be a rough season for ticks, so please monitor your pets regularly. I don't know about dogs over 15 pounds but my dog is 14 years old and he has been on Revolution since we adopted him as a rescue when he was one year old. Revolution is what the adoption center used so I continued it with the two dogs I adopted. He has never had any problems with fleas, ticks or heart worms.

I love this product and it does very well for our Maltese. When will this be back in stock??

My little buddy is now 11 yrs. old. I have never used anything but Revolution for her at the recommendation of her Veterinarian. I have always been pleased with Revolution’s protection from insects, ticks AND heart worm. Other products for ticks and insects often require a second product for protection from heart worm. One application once a month between the shoulder blades and you’re done! I recommend!!

Purchased this from Chewy as it’s the medicine my vet recommends. Have only used it once and thus far no signs of an fleas. My other dog has a flea allergy so it’s very important that my animals don’t have any fleas. Very pleased with this purchase.
