Richard’s Organic Hairball Remedy worked really well on my senior cat. He’s been having some digestive issues and couldn’t pass his hair balls, either by hacking or pooping. I gave him a little of this product on my finger a few times and he didn’t like the texture of it. (I think it was too soft in Richard’s Organic Hairball Remedy worked really well on my senior cat. I mixed them 50/50 until he was completely on only the Richard’s. Now, after more than a month of his discomfort, vomiting undigested food, and constant whorfing, he was able to poop out the blockage within eight days! I’m relieved that I can stop cleaning vomit off my carpet and he can get back to enjoying life again. He likes the tuna flavor and I give it to him several times a day. This is good stuff! … more

The tube has mostly air in it. You really have to squeeze to get anything out. There was no seal on top so maybe reason for nothing in it. Waste of money. Have been using Chewy for years and never had this problem with an item.

Richard’s organics hairball remedy
By Carolyn on Feb 26, 2021
I bought Richard’s organics tuna flavored hairball remedy for my cat. It’s a little thinner than I was expecting, I thought it would be like a paste. The cat doesn’t seem to mind the taste though.

Arrived Broken
By Jules on Feb 9, 2021
This is the 2nd time I've ordered & received a busted open tube in my package. I'm not blaming Chewy because they are not the manufacturer of the tube container component.

I love this product! It took a couple serving to get used to but now skippy loves it! And he is a very picky cat too! I love that its organic, the price is reasonable, and he likes it!

Great Stuff
By PatiJo on Jan 25, 2021
My picky cat Molly loves the flavor & would probably eat it all day if I let her. It seems to be working - no upchucks for weeks. Even her stools are moister & easier to pass. I'm sold on this product.

Yummy good
By Isha on Jan 7, 2021
Ever since my Mommy has been adding this to my dinner, I have not been throwing up and leaving "gifts" for Mom and Dad. It is yummy good and Mom is pleased that it really has stopped the hairballs. I feel so much better, my coat is so glossy and I am not scratching as much.

OK Product
By PVCCPA on Dec 29, 2020
I have used this product for several months. It has worked, for the most part, in dealing with hairballs caused by my cat's skin condition that the vet has not yet been able to clear up. However, the product itself has become runny with air pockets and more difficult to administer (on finger to roof of mouth). She does not like it in food; perhaps it is the ingredients (multiple sugars including high fructose) used in lieu of petroleum jelly (Cat-Lax). I am going back to Cat-Lax.

Packaging Wasteful, Product Oozy
By ElsieAndDoc on Nov 29, 2020
This is my first time using a hair ball remedy of any kind. I chose this one because it claims to be organic. The tube is huge compared to the amount of product. Shame on an organic company putting out more plastic waste than necessary! The hairball remedy, tuna flavor, comes out of the tube oily, it is drippy and I had a mess before I could even get it to my cats. They both turned their nose up at it and its too oily to put on a paw. I may try adding it to their food, but I am wholly disappointed with this product because I had hoped it would be a treat for them and at the very least be easy to use. I had visualized a paste or gel consistency from the description.
