Just what I needed
This is just what I needed to take my 9 lb cat to the vet, he becomes a lion there so I needed something that I could take the top off instead of reaching in
STURDY CARRIER
I was please with the size. It was roomy for my 19 lb cat. I loved that it opens from the top and sides. Very easy to get cat in from the top. It is secure and study. I highly recommend it.
Cute & functional!
Finally found a carrier with large dimensions that is not flimsy and has a top opening! Our cat is too big for normal sized carriers. The top opening helps us to open & sooth our cats during car rides.
Broke before even using
This carrier fell off the bed onto a floor that is concrete, but padded and carpeted. The corner broke off and the door fell off. I never even got to use. Assume this is not safe at all.
Double door carrier for cats.
I was looking forward to getting this, but when I got it, I couldn’t get the fasteners to go on to put it together. Now I can’t use it as a carrier. It’s an expensive cat bed. Top and bottom are laying on top of each other with a blanket inside.

At last, a carrier for large cats that allows ease of removing a recalcitrant cat. No more removing 10 plus screws. It is a little heavier than I would like, but I realize the necessity because of the weight of the kitty.

This is light but sturdy and light weight carrier for my two cats (8.7 & 9.2 pounds). It feels good support when we lift the carrier with cat inside. Having multiple entries, top and front are beneficial and provide easy access to put them insides. Top and bottom body part is also separated easily and this is an another good option to close the carrier after we put them inside.
Don't use - not safe
I was never able to get this assembled- the top and bottom do not line up. The hinges are cheap light plastic, even if you are able to get them on. The bottom of the carrier is thin plastic that easily bows down if you lift it up with a cat that is only a few pounds of weight. The door has VERY SHALLOW holes for the metal to insert into, so it would likely easily push open especially considering the top and bottom are very loosely held together by the cheap plastic hinges. I bought it for the pink and brown color which is my favorite combo and was thrilled, so tried everything to make it work. It's not worth the safety of my animals no matter what, though. Chewy customer service was great and refunded, and read another similar review to me by another customer.
Happier Cat
Ralph likes his new carrier as its easier to get him in/ out of. He is a aggressive cat and it's much easier to clean if he has any accidents.
