great for dock diving!

Bought this toy for dock diving practice. It floats, is brightly colored, durable, and nicely sized. This is not intended to be a chew toy! Its great for its intention - fetch in the water.

Newfoundland loves it!

I bought this Lighthouse for my new Newfoundland to retrieve in both fresh and saltwater. It is our favorite water toy! We have used this about 10 times this past summer and it's in perfect condition. The lighthouse floats upright in both salt and freshwater making it very easy for her to locate above the waves.

Worst water toy out there

I would give this toy 0 stars if it was an option for a variety of reasons. Its way to expensive to only last for five minutes before it broke. My Labradoodle loves to swim and retrieve anything I throw in the water for him. I thought this thing would float vertically but definitely did not in the saltwater. The third time I threw it for him the top of the lighthouse broke off from the weighted base and upon further inspection it looked as if the two were attached using low quality elmers glue. One would think at this price point you would be receiving a quality product, unfortunately that was not the case.

Best water toy, well, other than tennis balls. My Standard Schnauzer loves swimming for this toy. What's really funny is that it was not tested in a salt water pool. The base needs to be slightly heavier. However, when it lays flat on the water it's easier for my dog to retrieve.

Definitely a hit with our pup. The other dogs always steal it from him too! Easy to see because it pops right up out of the water. Highly recommended!

Our Portuguese Water Dog puppy LOVES this toy. The string came off right away, but the toy still works so well! She loves to carry it to the lake herself, and she will run in from shore or leap off the dock to retrieve it. It always pops up right away. Easy for us to spot, easy for her to see and grab. Just the right size for her (she's around 55 lbs).

Used this out at the beach. My dog isn't a chewer of toys he retrieves. This one split in half under 30 tosses. Bummer, it floated so nice and was a good highly visible toy.
