It's hard to keep weight on my cat, so we gave this a try. Not only is he up to his perfect weight after getting through a full bag of this, his coat also looks and feels amazing. He will absolutely be on this food until his senior years, and we'll definitely be sticking with royal canin from here on It's hard to keep weight on my cat, so we gave this a try. I regret feeding this to my cats, start checking labels

By Pussygalore on Aug 1, 2020

Some time ago, I asked my vet what food she recommended. She gave me a vague uncommitted answer. I was anticipating she’d pick Royal Canin, due to it being the only product stocked in the waiting area. Based on that, I made the assumption Royal Canin was recommended by them. I was anticipating she’d pick Royal Canin, due to it being the only product stocked in the waiting area. Based on that, I made the assumption Royal Canin was recommended by them. Recently I read, a cats diet should be like what they’d eat in the wild. Cats don’t hunt grains, their digestion is better suited for meat. This makes sense to me. I checked the ingredients of this product and was stunned to see the second through fifth ingredients are grains. It is now my opinion, this isn’t a high quality food and not what I want to feed my cats. I am switching to grain free food. Though when I read those labels I wonder if those ingredients make sense. Cats eating sweet potato? How is that better than corn? It is a mine field trying to find a high quality food for your pet. Where do you get dependable information, and then find that product? Hope you find my experience and opinion helpful. … more

all cats dont care for it

    By on

I think Royal Canin is a great company and produces great products , however , this brand all 4 cats wouldn’t it . They like their other varieties fine and thought I’d change it up since this was on a deal and thought they would like a change . I guess not . Maybe the shelter kitties will like it ?

    Our cat was not thrilled

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

Our cat is a little bit picky. She took to this after 3 days we were hoping she would like it more but she did not. We had her on blue buffalo so we will probably get her back on that. Product seems to be of great quality but our cat was not thrilled by it.

Cats would not eat, even with treats mixed in. Chewy was quick to remedy the situation- Thank you!
