Royal Canin Bulldog Adult Dry Dog Food

This Royal Canin formula is designed exclusively for purebreed English Bulldogs over 12 months old. The English Bulldog has a very sensitive digestive system and is prone to flatulence. Their heavy, compact frame can also put extra stress on their joints. The English Bulldog’s brachycephalic (flat) facial structure can make it more difficult for him to eat easily. That's why it's important to choose a diet tailor-made for the Bulldog's specific needs.
Key Benefits- Designed for English Bulldogs over 12 months.
- Highly digestible proteins, an appropriate fiber content and high-quality carbohydrate sources for healthy digestion.
- Helps reduce intestinal fermentation which can cause digestive disorders, flatulence and unpleasant stool odor.
- An exclusive complex of nutrients to support skin and coat health. Also enriched with EPA and DHA for healthy bones and joints.
- Wave-shaped kibble helps Bulldogs easily pick up the kibble.

We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet’s digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.
How are Royal Canin diets preserved?

Where do the ingredients in Royal Canin diets come from?
We select our ingredients based on multiple factors, including the supplier’s compliance with our quality and food safety requirements, consistent availability, and on the nutrients required to meet the dietary needs of the pet.Royal Canin is making strides towards sustainability by attempting to obtain sources of raw materials as close to each manufacturing facility as possible. In some cases, we use international suppliers, because only those suppliers can offer raw materials that comply with our quality and food safety standards.
Why do some Royal Canin diets contain by-products?
Royal Canin chooses ingredients because they deliver high-quality nutrients that support our customized pet food formulas. How do you ensure Royal Canin diets are safe for my pet?
Our Quality and Food Safety systems are state-of-the-art and we continue to invest heavily in new technology to make sure they remain that way.* We put our suppliers through a rigorous selection process that doesn’t end with our first purchase.* We monitor every load delivered to our plants to verify the safety and quality of the ingredients we use to make pet food.* We perform tests on finished pet foods before they are shipped to our customers.* We manufacture every pet food we sell, in plants that we own; our plants are ISO 9001:2008 certified for Quality Management and ISO 22000 certified for Food Safety.

We use Royal Canin for all our dogs - but the Bulldog is especially good as the shape helps prevent cloaking for their different type of bite.

First time using Chewy and we couldn’t believe how fast our order got here. The food bag was vacuum sealed and was very fresh when we opened it. We’ll keep using Chewy for the future.

I love this food. The food is big chunks so my dog doesn't eat so fast. She loves it.

pieces are too big for a bulldog
By BellasMom on Sep 1, 2020
I find it ironic that the mfr has specified this recipe to address the unique needs of a Bulldogs anatomy but created it with such LARGE pieces. My 7 yr old bully loves the flavor but I have to CUT the pieces in 1/2 or 1/3 to ensure she doesn’t CHOKE. So while I feel more comfortable with her not eating grain free, I have to stand in the kitchen cutting her food every day - yet another example of how I work for her.

Wanted so badly to love this food because it sounds like a dream, but no matter how slowly I try to introduce, both my boys get sickies and the runs BAD.
