Pricey and didn"t help anxiety.

We"ve been using this for a little over a month. My girl liked this but it didn"t help her anxiety. I ordered Purina Calm and I am now looking at alternative food so we don"t double up on too much items for anxiety. This was very pricey to not work.

Royal Canin comfort food

I bought this for my Golden. He has Addison’s disease. Along with his monthly injections I thought I would try this to see if it helped with his insecurities/anxiety. He ate good first couple feedings but then went back to eating his regular RC. If your looking for a food with small kibble & a great scent, even for humans, this is worth a try!

Pretty impressive

We have two dogs (a 3-year-old rescue who was likely abused/abandoned while pregnant with heartworms, and one of her puppies who is 1.5 years old). While the baby was born here, she exhibits anxious behaviors (the hair on her spine spikes up sometimes when she sees other dogs, and she becomes anxious about car rides, prompting her to vomit [though that is declining]). The mom was likely abused and can be dog/cat aggressive; she is also afraid of thunderstorms. This food seems to be improving their temperament and anxious behaviors so far; they also really like the Royal Canin Digestive Care food (which we used for different reasons: the puppy due to her motion sickness and the mom due to some constipation issues), but I will continue them on this diet and monitor their behaviors, as well as update this review if necessary.

Seeing Subtle Changes

When I read about this food, I knew I had to give it a try. I have a 5 year old super anxious puggle. She’s noise phobic, and reacts in an aggressive manner when she hears the slightest noise. She’s also aggressive to dogs bigger than her. I’ve been feeding her this for about 20 days, and I find her to be less reactive towards noise, and she actually let a dog bigger than her sniff her and then she cried to play with the dog. I couldn’t believe it! My only complaint is that her stool is HUGE, and has been on the softer side since starting the food. Otherwise, I do feel like it is making a difference! A plus is that she loves the food. She also loves the canned food of the comfort care, and she digests it well!

Anxiety hurts comfort care helps

Aubrey is an emotional dog and can get upset easily. I’ve recently put her on comfort care and purina calming care to help and I’m again able to trim her nails and I see her wanting to play with her brothers more
