    No more diarrhea!

    My new rescue kitty was plagued with diarrhea since day one. We tested for parasites, gave him probiotics, a round of Panacur, metronidazole- nothing helped. We were about to go down the prescription food allergy trial and intestinal bloodwork road when I decided to try sensitive stomach food as a last My new rescue kitty was plagued with diarrhea since day one. We were about to go down the prescription food allergy trial and intestinal bloodwork road when I decided to try sensitive stomach food as a last ditch effort. I bought the Royal Canin dry and wet sensitive food and a couple cans of pro plan sensitive wet as well (kitty likes variety). In 2 days his stool was completely normal and stayed normal until I tried a can of regular food. The regular food gave him diarrhea that night and when I gave him back the sensitive food he immediately changed back to normal! I hope it stays- very happy rescue mommy here! … more

    Cats are Picky

    I have two ragdolls. One throws up routinely every few weeks, so I thought I would try this food. I was also hoping a new flavor would be appealing since they seem to be bored with RC Adult Instinctive, but while neither cat is particularly food-motivated, this flavor was not of any interest to either I have two ragdolls. I was also hoping a new flavor would be appealing since they seem to be bored with RC Adult Instinctive, but while neither cat is particularly food-motivated, this flavor was not of any interest to either of them. No reflection on the food's quality; cats are picky and fickle. It did seem to make them more interested in the Adult Instinctive. I have learned to order just a few cans when I test out a new food. … more
