Description

Royal Canin Hairball Care Thin Slices in Gravy Canned Cat Food was developed specifically for your indoor cat over 1 year old. Cats who live exclusively indoors are sheltered from temperature variations and changes in day length which disrupts the natural seasonal cycle of fur growth, so your kitty sheds almost continuously. With a constant shed cycle, your cat swallows excessive hair during grooming and has an increased chance of hairballs. This special formula contains highly digestible proteins to promote digestive health, support hairball management, and maintain an ideal weight. This complete and balanced diet provides all the nutrients your furry friend needs and may be fed alone or as a supplement to another diet.

Key Benefits
  • These tasty slices in gravy are developed specifically for indoor cats over 1 year old.
  • Made with highly digestible protein to promote digestive health and wellbeing.
  • Supports hairball management and keeps your kitty at an ideal weight.
  • 100% complete and balanced nutrition may be fed alone or as a supplement to another diet.
  • Keep your indoor furball healthy and hairball free with this formula developed by nutritional experts.

On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. My Siamese cat loves this

    By on

My Siamese cat has always had hair balls. It disrupts her appetite and causes other problems. I tried this food to see if it would make an improvement and it has. She loves the food and it helped her with bringing up hair balls.

Still don't have an opinion on this one

    By on

At this point we are undecided whether either of our kitties are liking this Hairball formula. Basically just trying to add a little to the bowls every feeding hasn't confirmed to me that they like it. I am throwing away most of it everyday so I doubt we will order this one again. Even my good eater just turned her nose up.

    Helps my cat

    By on

One of my cats has a constipation problem, even though he's shorthair and his problem isn't caused by hair balls. This food eases his problem and, most important, he likes it and eats it with relish. I'm happy I found it.

    Picky eaters

    By on

I tried this from a local pet store and my cat ate it. As soon as I purchased a case, he decides he doesn't like it. Now I have food he won't eat.

    Cats didn't like it

    By on

I have 2 cats who are pretty easy going in the food department. I need something for their hairballs. I gave this a try and neither of them seem to like it. They lick the gravy off and that's about it.

    Was hoping....

My cat didn't like either this food or the RC long hair cat dry food. I have to mix it with other food to get him to eat it. I can't say it prevented hairballs either as he is struggling with one now. I am also not impressed with the ingredient list. RC is supposed to be a top food but it is a fail on all accounts for us.
