    Changed our Lives

    By on

My 6 year old lab has always had a sensitive stomach and skin allergies, and I have tried so many different types of foods to get her intestinal track working normal and her skin feeling better. Our vet recommended Royal Canin since it is science- (not gimmick-) based. This food has changed our lives. At 65 lbs., she thrives on 1 can for breakfast and 1 can for dinner. I also supplement with about a 1/2 cup of the Royal Canin Labrador Retriever dry food as "treats" throughout the day, since most all other treats seem to give her stomach trouble. My dog absolutely loves it. And I couldn't be happier.

    Vet Recommended

I told my vet I was feeding my dog grain free canned food and he advised me to switch to Royal Canin because it isn't grain free. He said there's been research linking grain free dog food to heart problems in dogs. My previous dog had Dilated Cardio Myopathy (the heart keeps getting bigger, can't sufficiently pump blood to the body, resulting in fluid on their lungs and ending in sudden death) so that obviously scared me. At the time, my previous dog's cardiologist (I know...) recommended Taurine tablets orally so I gave those to her, but maybe it was already too late as she eventually passed away - but then again it's an incurable disease. Not meatloaf in sauce just mush.

    By on

Our lab retriever cross is an extremely fussy eater. She prefers chunky food not mush. This canned food is mush! It takes a huge amount of effort to get her to eat. We have now tried 4 different brands over the past year taking the time to slowly work them into her diet. This one works for her insides once she eats it. Cannot send photo for some reason.

    Thankful stock available

    By on

I have a really difficult time finding enough, if any, cans of the breed specific Royal Canin dog food at my local pet stores. They just don’t make a great effort to keep it on the shelves. I am so glad Chewy not only has this item in stock but once ordered, it got here really fast! Thanks Chewy!

    Healthy Diet

My British lab Roxie loves this product. She eats a combination of it and Royal Canin Labrador retriever hard food. It gave her the engery and stamina to retrieve 77 ducks opening weekend of the season.
