I changed Cody's food from grain free to this food that was recommended by the vet, he loves the food. Hopefully he will shed some weight, too soon to tell.

    A Good Grain Inclusive Food

    By on

Switched from another Brand that was not on the list of recommended foods. Transition went well with our three and they seem to like it despite what this human thinks is a weird odor. We are using the Weight Management formula.

    Our dogs like it

    By on

We switched to this after hearing about the grain free food scare. The dogs made the Tran session and like it. The pieces are larger than expected but seem to not be an issue for them.

    Royal Canin product ROCKS!!

    By on

My 14yr old lab/pit mix LOVES this food!! The other "picky eater" (Lhasa mix) will even eT it too! Although, I mix "Cesar simply crafted" shredded ckn, in with it for him. The outcome of consistent feeding, has produced very happy and healthy kids!! Definitely worth the extra coins, for this Royal Canin BRAnD!

    My dog loves this food!

    By on

I was hesitant to buy this dog food because my dog is a picky eater, but when my vet said he needed to lose weight, I decided to try it. It is more expensive than some brands but well worth the money because my dog loves it!

She really loves to eat this food!

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

I have had Miss Sadie on several "Diet" kibbles, but we always end up going back to this one. She loves it, it seems to keep her satisfied, and she has lost weight. She has even been on the prescription "Satiety Support" but didn't eat it with the gusto that she does this food. I have a hard time keeping my other two dogs from it also! I totally recommend this food to help dogs lose and even maintain weight.

Adding some Royal Canin to the mix

    By on

I have been feeding The Honest Kitchen to my pups which I like a lot. Recent reviews about out of the ordinary dog food has been concerning vets lately and I've been urged to reconsider. I actually think THK whole grain chicken is a great choice but I'm compromising with the vet and am going half and half. Royal Canin is a company that has done some good research and has helped my pups and cats in the past, so I'm going with them to add to my THK choice. This weight care food is actually higher calorie than what I was feeding Sammy so I'm adjusting the amount he gets accordingly. He needs to lose about 4 lbs. so we'll see how this goes. He likes eating it topped on his THK. He's had no digestive I have been feeding The Honest Kitchen to my pups which I like a lot.
