Transition Instructions

We recommend at least a 7-day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet’s digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.

  • My dog seems to feel full!

    By on

I have used Royal Canin's Veterinary diet "Satiety" in the past, and wanted to find a cheaper option without sacrificing quality and the fullness my dog feels on the food. I switched her over last month and have not noticed much of a difference! Before Royal Canin, my dog was constantly begging for food because I had to put her on a diet and lower her food intake. Now, she seems to be fuller for longer even though the portions are smaller. This diet is higher in fiber and protein than any other over the counter diet I have been able to find. It is a great choice for weight loss! (If you are trying to help your dog lose weight, you have to lower their food intake. The high fiber and protein combination in this diet helps them feel just as full as they did when they ate larger meals!) … more

  • my beagle loves it

My beagle is a very picky eater (odd, right?) but he LOVES this food! I wasn't sure if he would like it at first, so I started him off as giving him a few as treats and he would beg for more!

  • I can honestly say my 2 Shelties LOVE this product!

    By on

Every morning and evening my 2 shelties get their Royal Canin weight care dry dog food. They will come up to me and bark to tell me its time for their "dry crunchies" (our family's slang for this product.) Tried numerous other products and NOTHING beats Royal Canin! Nothing. I am 60 years old so my husband and I have tried a lot of products. Royal Canin is a keeper!

  • Overweight rescue senior Beagle needs to lose 8 pounds.

    By on

Additional exercise in the form of walks and adherence to a diet of Royal Canin Medium weight Care food took off 2.5 pounds in a little over two weeks. The Beagle hound is healthy more energetic and loves the food. I will keep her on it to control her weight and overall health.
