Royal Canon junior food for dogs

My dog has now been on this Royal Canon Junior food for the last 3 months and seems to be liking. It was on the puppy stage up until 3 months ago.

Finally some progress

I went through months of different food trials for my Newfoundland puppy - she had constant digestive upset and diarrhea with other brands of food and I was worried about her long-term health. After trying Royal Canin her digestive upset has subsided, and she is finally passing healthy-looking stools. Athena was definitely unsure of this new food at first, but after adding her salmon oil with it for a bit of a trial run, she is more than happy to eat her kibble dry and accompanied by her toppers. Her coat is much shinier, softer, and healthier.

Great Food

Feeding this to my 9 month old newfoundland puppy. Tried various giant breed foods and none of them have given me the results Royal Canin Junior has. No more digestive upsets, shiny, healthy coat and just all over great health. Definitely worth the money for the results I'm getting and he loves it too which is an added plus.

Royal canine Junior formula

Our 105 lb 1 year old rottie was able to move up in food. I was skeptical if he would like this transition and much larger kibble. He loves it!! Great food for the tween larger breed!

Great Feed for a growing pup!

This is a great food for intermediate XL breed pups. We’ve been feeding our Great Danes Royal Canine for years now and they love it (as does our vet). He has great energy and has had smooth growth since we started him on it at 8 weeks. This is a tasty, healthy, nutritionally balanced food for our 6-9 month old GD pup. He will join his big brother on Royal Canine Adult in a few months.

We waited until our pup (Tibetan Mastiff) was 18 months before switching him from Royal Canin's Giant Puppy formula on our vet's recommendation. Curious to see how his weight changes now that he's eating more; he ADORES this food! We have to make sure we're not overfeeding him! The quality is what we've come to expect from Royal Canin, and finding the junior specifically is pretty hard. So Chewy has come to the rescue again! We definitely recommend this!

Awesome company that cares

I love you guys. I will never forget your kindness towards me when I lost my mastiff 3 yrs ago. Everything I order is always top notch and the best part is I can actually hear from caring humans if I need any help.

Slowly But Surely…

Our 10-month-old l, 100+lb Great Pyrenees puppy wasn’t so sure about this (giant-sized) kibble at first. He didn’t go near it for about a meal or two - sniffed at it, licked it, chewed off a little piece of one kibble (they really are huge pieces) then left it. But gradually after a day or two, he started eating more and more of it and is now very happily eating it mixed in with his other normal kibbles (we mix about 4 kinds together, then crush and sprinkle some freeze-dried chicken or beef on top) - finishing all of this Junior kibble each time. His stool has been great on this - and no excessive gas or throw-up with this food. Coat has been smooth and shiny as well.

Smells retched and dog won't eat it

Headline says it really. Our newfoundland recoiled from this food so we smothered it with toppings and wet food but we can't get him to eat it. For my part the smell REALLY grosses me out. I have fed all types of food and not been so bothered but it has a really distinct and awful smell. I really wanted him to eat this. It's impossible to find a junior balanced dog food for a giant breed that has some science behind it so we really have tried to get him to get on board with this but our newf literally went off food until we stopped trying with this. He's been dropping weight and we've been worried but once we stopped mixing this in he seems to have begun trusting his food again. More power to you if your dog will eat this. Our vet recommended royal canin but it hasn't worked out for us.
