In the detailed description it says thus contains the urinate S/O formula. So is this the calm+urinary. I’m confused.

Calmer

This product has caused my 16 month old cat to calm down when I'm sleeping. She used to jump all over me on and off during the night but now she does that only once around 3 when she wants to be fed and now even sleeps beside me. I need a vet's prescription to buy it.

My kitteis love this food and it definitely helps with anxiety.

I have three kitties and one of them suffers with extreme anxiety. He was abused before we adopted him. We free feed our kitties so we are very happy that all three of them love the taste.

Lifesaver For My Cats

This is expensive but worth every dime for my cats. They are so much calmer and snuggly with us and each other. I have had up to 5 cats at one time and I swear by this food. I tried other methods and anxiety relievers including Feliway and Zylkene as well as Gabapentin. They helped but this food is by far the best! And they LOVE it! Everyone is happier except my wallet but my kitties are worth it!

Not effective

Unfortunately this for did not have the desired affect on my cat. He has been struggling with some stress related issues and is not easy to give medication to so my vet recommended trying this food. After going through the whole 4lb bag i didn’t notice any difference in his behavior. He is a notoriously picky eater and did actually eat it which is in and of itself impressive so i did give 2 stars

My street rescue had some urinary issues that really stressed an already standoffish cat out. This food not only cleared up his reoccurring UTIs but has also allowed him to be more calm and social.

Cat loves it!

Purchased with vet prescription for kitty with FIC to decrease urinary cystitis and stone formation so a little early to tell, but she seem to really enjoy this food and is less anxious.

Need a wet option for this food

My cat is on this food due to persistent UTIs. My vet said it would be better for him if Royal Canin would make a wet version of this food. Please!

Royal Canin Calm cat food

It's just week one, but my cats seem to be taking it well. The calming affect works, it seems to happen about 10 minutes after they eat and lasts for hours. It's helping.

This food is a life saver!

When I moved in with my boyfriend four months ago, we combined his two cats with my two cats. Most of the cats got along well with one another but one of mine (Smudge) and one of his (Cantu) quickly became enemies despite our very slow (2+ months) introductions. Smudge has long been known as the Destroyer of Tranquility and Weilder of Chaos in my household, but it worsened drastically after adding more cats to the mix. We tried Feliway diffusers, Sentry calming collars, ProPlan Calming Care, Vibeful Behavior Support, and Jackson Galaxy's Bully Solution. They all helped and we still use them, but Smudge never stopped bullying Cantu and causing chaos in the household which caused us to resort to drugging both cats with Gabapentin. That worked, but we didn't like the idea of sedating them daily. After talking with my vet, we decided to put all the cats on Royal Canin Calm. It's only been a few days but it's made a world of difference! Not only have the cats stopped fighting, but it actually seems like they're beginning to like each other. We have caught them napping together several times. It seems Smudge's reign of terror has finally come to an end, whcih are words I never thought I would say. More importantly, he seems to be choosing to chill out rather than being forced to by sedatives, which seems to have made him happier. He's a completely different cat, and it truly changed our lives by bringing peace back into our home. This food is worth its weight in gold!
