These cat treats are made with hydrolyzed soy proteins composed of low molecular weight peptides. That means the digestive tract can absorb the proteins, reducing the risk of a reaction in the immune system. Optimal amounts of B vitamins and amino acids support a healthy skin barrier. And these cat treats help reduce the risk of struvite and calcium oxalate crystal and stone formation in the bladder. With high digestibility and exceptional palatability, they’re a perfect way to reward cats during an elimination diet trial or those with long-term food sensitivities.

One of my cats is allergic to chicken, so both cats eat the Hydrolyzed diet. The cats get treats every night before bed and they start crying for the treats around an hour before bed every night. They will meow at me, walk to where the treats are kept, keep meowing, and walk to the spot where they are given their treats every night, especially if we go to sleep later than usual. They love these treats!
These have been back-ordered for months, we even wrote to "RC". We usually use "Hill's" and were a bit afraid of changing brands (hydrolyzed is a MUST). These became available before the "Hill's" so we decided to try them - we are very treat-centric for grooming (Persian/Himmies take a lot of this!) and general good behavior. These were a HIT from the very first treat!!!
My cats are very picky, will not eat people food and only a few cat foods. My cats have very sensitive digestion systems. They are Savanah's, high strung, impossible to hold and hopeless to pill before going to the vet. I have been able to hide small pills in these treats by wrapping them in a ball around the pill. If the treats have been open for a while, they do dry out and do not form well.
My fur child, Loki is nine years old, has small cel lymphoma and food allergies that require a Hydrolyzed protein. These treats have not been easy to get for a long time and when Chewy let me know they were back in stock, I ordered FIVE PACKS!!! Loki has turned into a junkie. He begs for these all day. He is so happy and back to himself now because of these treats. We couldn’t be happier.
My furbaby was put on a special diet to see if his excessive licking is linked to an allergy. A Chang to a prescription food he only mildly tolerates, no wet food, and no treats was way too much for my kitty. He was starting to lose weight (bad when he was a bit of a runt to begin with)... and it's too soon to determine if the diet is working. He would cry at his 7am and 8pm snack times for at least an hour. He's usually a fairly quiet sweet kitty, so it was just breaking my heart. Now he cries for these treats and will eat his food (somewhat) when I hide treats in the kibble. Hopefully the diet won't last more than two months. I wish they could come up with a wet food... and something more palatable, but for now, these treats are clutch. I made the mistake of not fully closing the drawer and he managed to pull them out and break them open.
My cat Mac loves these. Mac has food allegories and this is the only one he can have. He's been out for a month now, when will you get more in?
I am so beyond thankful that this treat is back. It has been since Feb 2022, the last time I was able to order them. My 16 yr old cat today ate them so fast that she almost choked. Then she cried for more. I had tears in my eyes seeing how happy she was. I just wish my other cat, who died 11 months ago at 15yrs old, who loved these and got them with her meds, was still here to enjoy them also. I just PRAY, they stay in stock.
For those of us with cats who are on a specialize hydrolyzed protein diet, it would be great if the cat food Gods could make such diets palatable! And if they’re going to call it treats, make it taste like a real, yummy treat. I know they can! Give that hydrolyzed protein diets are no fun for our cats, they really deserve at least a tasty treat!
