About Royal Canin Dermatology For Dogs

Worried About Your Dog’s Skin Health?

Skin health concerns are common and can appear anywhere on your dog’s body. Your veterinarian is the expert on your dog’s health, so you should always consult with this trusted advisor to find the best solutions for your pet. This specialized expertise is why Royal Canin works closely with veterinarians to develop formulas that support skin health.

Common Causes of Skin Health Concerns

Environmental Sensitivities

Pollen, plants and dust are environmental factors that can trigger an immune response in some dogs.

Food Sensitivities

Your veterinarian may recommend a diet elimination trial to help determine if your pet has a sensitivity to certain proteins in his current diet.

Parasites

Your dog can pick up external parasites such as mites, fleas, ticks and lice from contaminated sources, both indoors and out

Infection

Puppies, older dogs, and dogs that have recently been ill may be more susceptible to bacterial infections that can lead to skin health concerns.

How Can Nutrition Help?

Your veterinarian may recommend a Royal Canin Dermatology formula for your dog. These special formulations can:

Aid digestive health by regulating movement through the GI tract and supporting balanced digestive flora

Support the skin’s natural protective barrier

Aid cellular health with a complex blend of antioxidants.

Promote healthy skin and coat by providing long chain omega-3 fatty acids in the diet

Find The Perfect Balance

With a dry and wet feeding routine, dry food supports positive oral health while wet food supports healthy hydration.

Autoship

Keep your pet's feeding on schedule.  Set your order for Autoship to make sure you always have their veterinarian-recommended nutrition on hand.

My Dog Loves It

My vet recommended we try this since we bring her in every month for the shot. It has worked wonders in that the shot now lasts for several months. Not to mention, she absolutely loves it! She let us know like clockwork when it is getting close to her time to eat. Sometimes a little too early in fact. This was a tremendous difference from her other food which was a very good food, but we sometimes had to doctor up the food to get her to eat. Not so with this one! We were a little concerned ordering the food because every place was out of stock on it, but she came through with exactly what we needed. Very pleased!

Excellent service

My dog’s food became hard to get, and Chewy worked with me and with my vet to find this very good alternative. I appreciate the ease of this change.

Tried and True!

My Boston terrier had anal gland abscesses yrs ago, and the vet recommended No scoot…so, I gave him 1 twice a day for years and never had another issue or abscess. I stopped giving the cubes for several months, and he just had an anal gland issue! So, he’s back on the No scoot forever:)

Royal Canin Skin support

I spent a ton of money at the vet and vet dermatologist until the groomer suggested this product along with a medicated shampoo once a month all of our skin issues are gone.

Better Skin

We have definitely seen a difference in our dog since we put her on this food. Her scratching has been reduced considerably. We will definitely continue with this food and would highly recommend if your dog has a skin problem

Skin Issues

Being asked to review products right after purchase always bothers me. However, we're only into our second bag of this food with our GSD and have seen a marked improvement with her skin issues. We can't claim they've gone away, but certainly much better along with her eating habits have improved. Maybe in 6 months or so i will remember and leave another review. But so far this will be her food.
