Continue to Canada siteRoyal Canin Urinary SO Small Breed is a veterinary-exclusive dry dog food developed to nutritionally support your small dog’s urinary tract and bladder health. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. It increases the amount of urine your dog produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Low Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. And for dental health, the adapted kibble size for small dogs encourages chewing to help reduce tartar buildup. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some dogs. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your dog on this urinary dog food for long-term urinary support.

We started giving our Aussie this food due to crystals in her urine and kept her on it for a bit even after the crystals were gone (per our vet’s recommendation). All of a sudden our dog developed a UTI and started peeing herself in her sleep - she has never had issues with either previously - a very healthy senior dog. When the UTI was gone, she was still incontinent and come to find out it’s becUse of the Urinary SO food. Beware of feeding this to your dog long term.
I cut this food into her regular dry food rather than just change her food over to a whole new food. She has had very loose bowels ever since we started it. I’m gonna talk to her vet this week
My dog has kidney stones and this food was recommended by the vet and has really improved my dogs urinary track and without surgery yet
My sweet fur baby had to start this veterinary diet and I was quite reluctant to change out all of his favorite foods for this new, strict diet. Two weeks into the plan, I am relieved and pleased that so far he has taken to the food quite well. It’s clear that he still misses his yummy treats, but over time, I’m hoping that longing will pass.
The dog who needs to eat the prescription food won’t eat it unless I doctor it up. The dog who doesn’t need to eat it loves it. Very quick to ship. Thanks!
My sweet Brussels Griffin had to have surgery to remove 4 extremely large bladder stones. To keep her healthy her vet prescribed Royal Canin SO. She absolutely loves this food, she's never gobbled up her food as fast as this.
My dog was fighting a bad urinary infection. He was put on this food and withing 5 days starting peeing normal. Whatever was causing it from his other food, this one helped to start clearing it up.
I have tried other Urinary Tract foods for Meeko and he turned his nose up at all of them. However, no matter what I give him of Royal Canin in Urinary Tract food (dry kibble or canned), he LOVES it! Thank you Royal Canin.
