  • My diabetic dog would not touch this food

    By on

Nearly $60 for 24 cans of food my dog will absolutely not eat. :( I have 20 left, the other 4 I attempted on various occasions to force feed him just went in trash. The ingredients are questionable. My vet had my swap him from a pretty decent commercial kibble with REAL foods as the first several ingredients. The first ingredients on this food is Water, pork by-products, and powder cellulose?? What in the world. Trash. Also... why would you put corn products in a dog's food that is a diabetic? It's garbage. I swapped him to a grain and potato free Merrick food.

  • Working well!

    By on

My girl was recently diagnosed with diabetes. Our previous food, although prescription, made her blood sugar spike. She is doing well, and as soon as I am able to add the dry food, I'm sure she won't be bringing her empty bowl and asking for refills...I think she's hungry! Thank you to everyone at Chewy for their concern, help, and refund of our unused food. We wouldn't shop anywhere else!

  • Great Product

    By on

My vet recommended this food after I struggled to get my 12 year old fur baby's glucose numbers down despite changing her diet and administering insulin. I am happy to report after 3 weeks on this food her glucose reading is 85! Miraculous. She also loves this food. Eats it right up every time it is placed in front of her which takes the worry out of administering insulin if they don't eat. Love the discount received for auto ship! Great product and I highly recommend to anyone struggling to control glucose levels in a fur baby! I'm a believer!

  • Dog Loves It

    By on

Wanted a non diet dog food as our diabetic dog wasn't keeping his weight on while on weight management, so vet switched us to the cans above. Doing much better putting a little meat on his bones now. All is good. He eats the dry food in this category also. Would recommend both.

  • She loved it!

    By on

I was afraid she wouldn't like it because it was for Diabetic dogs. She loved it. I will order more, when it's time. She has recently been diagnosed as Diabetic. I was so afraid she wouldn't eat it, she's very finicky when it comes to food, but she did.

  • This makes feeding time much easier!

    By on

We love Royal Canin. We changed over to this after we found out my Yorkie is diabetic. He was on another type of diabetic canned dog food and he did not seem to enjoy it as much. This really makes feeding time much more enjoyable and it has less carbs that other canned foods on the market. Thanks Chewy for being so awesome and having such a great variety!
