  • Can u combine AMAZING, INCREDIBLE and LIFE-SAVING?

    By on

I was on the phone two weeks ago with my husband and I told him it was time for God to take Orilee :(...my little blind girl (her mom was a malnourished stray) was 2 weeks shy of 18 years old and she hadn't eaten in 2 days and there is a tumor growing in her head that the vet won't remove bc of her age!! I did all i could through years of doctor's visits with her, and i was ready to let her go :(...I asked my vet if there was a liquid diet and she recommended Royal Canin Recovery. Amazingly Orilee was able to eat it, and she is about 50% royally recovered and still hanging on with an appetite to boot!! This cat food is phenomenal...no words really justify but i have my little angel still with I was on the phone two weeks ago with my husband and I told him it was time for God to take Orilee :(...my little blind girl (her mom was a malnourished stray) was 2 weeks shy of 18 years old and she hadn't eaten in 2 days and there is a tumor growing in her head that the vet won't remove bc of her age!! • A Valuable Resource for Our Cat with Cancer

    By on

Royal Canin RS was a key resource in helping our 13 year old cat Julie recover from a variety of tests and surgery prior to her intestinal cancer diagnosis. Post-surgery it helped her gain the weight she lost, and remains an important part of her current diet. I'm not at all sure she would have survived without it.

  • Excellent for weight gain

    By on

This is fantastic. My cat, Lance, was diabetic 2 years ago. After a lot of work and patience, he overcame the diabetes but lost quite a bit of weight in the process. His Dr recommended this Recovery RS to help him gain the weight back because of its high calorie content. It is also grain/gluten free so it won't disrupt his body and cause a glucose flare. It is VERY soft easy for him to eat as he has had most of his teeth removed over time. He has gained nearly all of his weight back (4.5 lbs) in the 4 months since beginning this new diet. I am so happy with his results and will continue to keep Recovery RS in his dietary rotation.

  • So far good!

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

Puppies love it & so do the Mommas. It's blended smooth so any size small breed puppy can eat it. It is great mixed in with the regular dog food & soaked with warm water. It blends in very well. My Vet said she likes it better than - & - and it has not given Puppies loose stool. A friend of mine hand raises cleft pallet Bulldog Puppies that people give her to raise, she tried some of this food & got a RX from her Vet so she also can have it shipped right to her home rather than travel 32 miles to the Vet to pick it up. My kitten has a neurological deficit and has to be hand fed with a syringe. The consistency of this food makes this process so much easier. Thanks

    By on

Our dog loves this little can of yum especially because he has to take meds so a spoonful 3 times a day makes the medicine go down with enjoyment & excitement. So he thinks he is getting a special treat ,so takes his pills is easy peasy. + good for him too.

  • Help for Homer

    By on

M cat Homer had teeth extracted and subsequent problems eating. He ate this for our vet and she prescribed it for him to get proper nourishment. The only downside is trying to keep my other three cats from eating it before Homer finishes his meal.

  • Prescription pet food is over priced

    By on

Most pets that are on these prescription pet foods also have large vet bills. I feel the food is doing its job, it gives my guy enough kcals without the high fat. But when a 12 week pup needs 4.5-5 cans per day that's gets pretty expensive. I have to order 3 cs every 2 weeks that's about $164.

  • Great dog food, but need a script from vet to purchase.

    By on

This dog food works well when your dog is having eating issues as ours did. You only need a small spoonful mixed with their regular food and I guarantee your dog will eat. Works good for giving pills to your pet too!
