  • Not for my Lab

    By on

We've been on the canned Royal Canin renal diet and our senior Holly age 14 yrs 6 mos has been doing very well with it. Problem is 3 cans/day is expensive so we tried to switch her over to the dry. She attacked it the first couple times we put it out for her and then she had some typical bowel problems associated with a diet change. Since then, she's turned her nose up at it and we stopped feeding it to her. Back to canned equivalent.

  • She loves it!

My geriatric dog was indifferent to her senior kibble, which was a good brand with a solid reputation. When told that she needs a prescription lower-protein kidney diet, I was afraid she would think it was sawdust and would refuse to eat it at all. I opened the new bag, and it smelled WONDERFUL! Roast chicken right out of the oven. I was surrounded by three cats and a wildly enthusiastic old dog. I hadn't seen the Corgi Food Dance in ages. I have to wait a while for lab results, but I will let you know how she fares.

  • Great Product Selections, Price & Service

    By on

Local vet recommended Royal Canin as my 13 yr. old beagle is experiencing kidney problems. Although too soon to tell if food is slowing disease progression, my dog likes the taste and willingly consumes it. This is my first order from and I am very impressed with personnel. They are knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. Plus with available discount, they made an expensive product more affordable.

  • Kidney relief

    By on

Since learning of my pup’s kidney disease about 6 months ago, I’ve been searching for a food that’s gentle on her kidneys an that she’ll enjoy. Other than making food myself, she’s rejected all of the (very expensive) brands I’ve tried. Then my vet suggested Royal Canin. Man, my pup gobbles this stuff up so fast! She loves it! And it’s good for her. What more could I ask for than a healthy and happy dog?

  • My dog likes it sometimes

    By on

My 13 year old shiba was diagnosed with early stage 2 renal failure so I am hoping that this food will her delay disease progression. She is a finicky eater and seemed to like this kibble when we first got it. But more recently I have to add other things to it to get her to eat. My cats and other dog love it!

  • Beginning of renal failure.

    By on

Happy to report that my dog is eating this food, but likes a little something mixed in with it. I put some white meat chicken with it, because that is what he is used to. My dog is 13, which is very old for a Shar-pei, so I will not deprive him of the treats he enjoys so much, just a few less.

  • My pets love it!

I just purchased our first bag of Renal Support A dry dog food and my old dog loves it. She waits patiently every morning for her meal, and the two cats do too. They love the smell and always hope she's going to leave some of her food. She always licks the bowl clean though. Sorry cats.

  • My Rottie will eat this!!

    By on

My rottie has elevated kidney levels and was on prescription Hills k/d. I had trouble getting him to eat this so I decided to switch to Royal Canin. I give him both the wet and dry prescription food. He actually eats this without me having to coax him. The wet food with the chunks and gravy is much more appealing to him. I am not sure how long he will be on prescription food but I am glad he is eating this as they are all very expensive especially when you have more than one dog to feed.

  • Quick delivery

    By on

My vet put me on a Royal Canin "prescription" diet which I'm told isn't cheap. Not only was Chewy cheaper than my vet but it was delivered to my door within 2 days - and I got to bark at the delivery guy!. Mom and I are sold!

  • She likes it!

So sad I have to have my dog on this diet, but I have to say the transition to this food was easy. No problems getting her to eat it. I soak the kibbles in water before feeding it to her so she gets more liquid in her.
