  • Picky eater

I mixed this with Hill's KD Chicken and KD Fish. Charlotte likes this combo. KD or renal type food tends to be much you have to be creative to get your cat to eat. My vet even suggested that you could mix in baby food (chicken or turkey with gravy), just a small amount, to entice the cat to eat. It's very important that your furry friend eats...whatever it takes for those with renal problems

  • He Loves It

Anyone with a cat that’s been diagnosed with CKD knows appetite can be an issue. I’ve tried many renal prescription diets, soft and hard. And non prescription foods as well. Basically, a smorgasbord of Foods. None of which he ate consistently. I was given a sample of this food. He took to it immediately and has continued to consistently eat it. Thanks again Royal Canin for your quality products.

  • The BEST for Kidney Diet

    By on

My oldest, 18 yr old was recently diagnosed w/Kidney Disease and needed the Kidney Diet Food. The vet recommended Royal Canin and Miss Boots loves it, also, my 12 yr old goes and tastes Miss Boots food and loves it too. Dr said not to be concerned if Precious eats some of it. That's it, I'm a happy camper along with my best friends.

  • he eats it!

    By on

My cat was far from thrilled that he had to switch to renal support food. He refused to eat another brand, but he will eat this. It's apparently so tasty that my other cat, who is still young and on regular food, will eat any of this that my older cat leaves in his dish.

  • Reviews were right.

    By on

Based upon reviews of the three formulations for Royal Canin renal support, I bought the ‘S’ one (Savory?). Our tabby loves it and is eating well, after being recently diagnosed for kidney disease. He’d become picky and disinterested in eating. Highly recommend.

  • Royal Canin S Renal Support dry cat food

    By on

Our cat, Athena, loves this cat food. She is 20 years young and was prescribed this food for her kidney issues. We can tell a huge difference in her demeanor and we now see weight gain which was so badly needed.

  • Cats Love It!

    By on

My vet recommended a low protein diet for one of my cats because of a liver shunt. According to my vet the other kitties can eat it too without issue which is a good thing, because I can't keep them out of it!

  • My Cat Loves it

I wasn't sure if my cat would eat this since it is a Veterinary diet, but she loves it! She's been eating it for a while now and hopefully it will do its job in slowing down her kidney failure.

  • Not bad for a prescription food.

    By on

I bought a sample pack of the Royal Canin renal foods from my vet. The "S" flavor is the one they liked best, so that is what I am feeding. Needless to say, they don't like it as much as the regular cat food, but they do have renal disease and need the special food. I would recommend it.

  • Seems to be tasty

I think my 13 yr old kitty likes the taste of this one slightly more than the F, or maybe she just needed a change, but anyway she is eating it with gusto.
