Description

Most pets have a small frame as compared to a human, and just a few extra pounds can have a dramatic effect on their life expectancy. Also, the extra weight can lead to other serious problems such as diabetes, heart disease, joint problems, skin irritations, and urinary tract disorders. A properly balanced, calorie controlled diet is essential for safe, efficient weight loss. Simply feeding less of the current diet may not provide enough essential nutrients, and may lead to deficiencies. An effective calorie restrictive diet should be low in fat, nutrient-rich, palatable, calorie restricted, and should satisfy your pet’s appetite.

Key Benefits
  • High-fiber, high-protein diet supports weight loss in overweight or obese small-breed adult dogs
  • Specially formulated as part of a veterinary supervised dietary management program
  • High protein content helps maintain muscle mass during a weight-loss program
  • This diet contains a precise blend of soluble and insoluble fibers to promote satiety and reduce the spontaneous consumption of food
  • Contains glucosamine and chondroitin to help support healthy bones and joints placed under stress by excess body weight

It works for painlessly reducing weight

    By on

I fed this to my 2 dogs; one was very overweight and the other just a tiny bit. The smaller dog loved it right away (they were both on RC low fat prescription before this) the fatter dog needed a little convincing, but he lost 4.5lbs of the 10lbs he needed to lose in less than 2 months by eating this food. Sadly he passed away a few days ago (he was eating normally till the end, the weight loss wasn’t due to illness), but my smaller dog is still eating RC Satiety. They both had a lot of gas when they started on it from the extra fiber, but that symptom went away to my nose’s relief :) I’m quite pleased with the results and will continue feeding RC Satiety. He seems a little less hungry

    By on

Our overweight dog needs to be on a diet, but the diet food left him starving all the time. This food seems to let him still have plenty of an appetite but not be quite as hungry. We are hoping it will lead to some weight loss for him.

    My babies love this food!!!

    By on

They have never eaten their food so quickly! They absolutely love the taste of this food! They eat it like it’s treats! However, the serving guide requires that they only eat a small portion, so they are always hungry afterwards and begging for more. Hopefully they lose weight soon so we can start giving them a little bit more with each serving. They’ve only been on it for about two weeks and seem to have lost about a pound so far already.

    Yorkies Love It!

    By on

When our Vet recommended that we change their food from Blue Buffalo to Royal Canin I was a little concerned. That concern went out the window the first time they ate it! It doesn't smell great but it must taste great because even my shy baby can't wait to get his bowl and devour breakfast and dinner!

Does stain white coat though. We used this once before and thought tear stains. Groomer said food. Changed food and white again. My Yorkie NEEDS to lose weight but I can’t keep my little Maltese out of it. They both love it.

    Great Product

    By on

Our dog loves this food and is slowly but surely losing a few ounces off of her 18 lb frame weekly. This reverses a weekly gain of a few ounce or so over the past few months. Great product!

    The best dog food ever!

    By on

All three of my dogs loved Royal Canin Sateity from day one! With small dogs buying a new dog food can be iffy too. I've probably tried ten or twenty different kibbles to finally find one that they like. Royal Canin costs a little bit more but it's worth it because they actually eat it.....and love what they're eating.
