  • Royal Canin Diet Satiety Support Dry Cat Food

Its been 10 days now that my Big Guy, Callie Boy has been eating a combo of this Satiety dry food & another Royal Canin low calorie dry food for cats. And this morning I was thrilled to see that his collar is now loose on him and he even looks trimmer. Callie even seems to have more interest in the world around him now, chases his kitten litter sister more and is more alert. Before this food he would just laze around and let me know when the next mealtime was. Callie turned 4 on 4/1/18 and I've been trying since he turned 2 years old to cut back his food and help him lose weight. He's about 5 - 8 pounds overweight and was 20+ pounds at the start of this diet. I can't weigh him here Its been 10 days now that my Big Guy, Callie Boy has been eating a combo of this Satiety dry food & another Royal Canin low calorie dry food for cats. He's about 5 - 8 pounds overweight and was 20+ pounds at the start of this diet. I can't weigh him here at home so in 2 weeks I'm going to bring him to the vet for an new accurate read. They will be so impressed. I found this food on my own though, no help from my vet. It is PRESCRIPTION food so Chewy.com needs approval from your vet before they will ship it. I just can't express how happy I am with this food though. I had almost given up on Callie Boy's weight problem because before this food, nothing worked for us. I also feed him one 3oz can of wet Beyond in 2 portions twice a day with 3/4 cup of this Royal Canin Satiety mix broken down into 3 meals a day. He still wakes me up at 6am for his breakfast but he doesn't seem to be so obsessed with mealtime anymore. He likes the food. Has adjusted to it just fine. And I like the other extra qualities that this food has for my boy, including a kidney feature that prevents crystals from forming, glucosamine & chondroitin for any aches & pains from being overweight these past 2 years and other important vitamins and pleanty of fiber that makes him feel full longer. Can't say enough about this food. I highly recommend. … more

Maggie and Midnight have pounced on this new food which Maggie needs to restore her girlish figure. However, her brother jumps right in because he thinks this is the cat's meow. There is no food which they have ever had which they have enjoyed so much. Now I wait to see the effect it has on Maggie. Pat L.

  • Even My Picky Cat Likes This!

    By on

Not giving 5 stars yet, since the cats have only been eating it for a couple of weeks. I bought this for one of my cats, who is NEVER EVER satisfied, to lose weight. My two cats occasionally dip out of each other's bowl, so it was easier to give this to both... Cat #2 is EXTREMELY picky and even he likes this!! He has had problems with food with grain in it previously, but I have seen no problems so far! As far as my fat, bottomless pit of a cat goes... He still begs for food if we go anywhere near the bowl, but he seems to be meowing less. I can't speak to weight loss yet, as it's only been two weeks. Hoping this continues to satisfy him and work!!!

  • Cats like it

    By on

My vet recommended that my overweight cat be put on this food. So far both cats like it. I can't speak for its weight-loss properties yet but I'm hoping it does it's job. For now I'm just happy that my cats are happy to eat it.

  • Cat eats less than regular SO

    By on

My cat was gorging on the regular SO dry cat food, in fact he gained a pound in 1 week. Since switching, he is not eating as much dry food. Hopefully he will stop having crystals, but thankfully no more issues in his catbox.

My cat was prescribed this food to help her lose a couple of pounds. I was a little shocked to see the high prices and then relieved that Chewy would help me save money on it. Thank you!

Satiety is wonderful senior cat, urinary tract diet. Really pricey for the average pocketbook. Chewy has the best price I could find, quick prescription processing, fast delivery.

  • Will continue to get my cat food this way.

I normally buy from the local vet that takes care of our rescue Main Coon. He is a big cat..21 lbs..so he has to have a diet cat food which is considerably more expensive that store brands. Normally I pay around $80+ when you add tax. They were out for 3 days and when I finally went by for the 3rd time, I was told it was backordered. Based on their failure to have the food, they offered the prescription for it and I went to Pet Smart. They had several versions, but not the version he normally eats. That's went I turned to Chewy.com. I saved at least $15...I didn't have to leave the house and it was here in just a couple of days, packed properly and just in time. • Cat likes the food

    By on

My cat found the food tasty, but had difficulty adjusting. Did as advised and switched her slowly, gradually blending out her regular food during which time she behaved as not feeling well. Her bowel movements come very rapidly and she's not making it to the litter box in time, consistent accidents since began using. Since the weight loss is best slow and she's only been on it a week, jury's still out on the job it's doing.
