Help support your paw-tner’s urinary tract and bladder health with Royal Canin’s Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Thin Slices in Gravy Canned Dog Food. High ion concentration in urine can lead to stone formation including struvite and calcium oxalate crystals, that’s why this veterinary exclusive recipe features Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology, which may help reduce ion concentration. To help dissolve struvite stones and help keep them from forming, this recipe is crafted with a reduced level of magnesium. Ask your vet about pairing this wet food with Royal Canin’s Urinary SO dry dog food and treats!
Key Benefits- Veterinary exclusive formula supports urinary health in adult dogs.
- Formulated to help dissolve and prevent struvite stones and help prevent calcium oxalate stones.
- Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology helps reduce the chance of crystal formation, supporting overall bladder health.
- Contains an exclusive S/O index, creating an environment that’s not favorable to crystal formation.
- Highly palatable with thin slices and a wag-worthy gravy for picky pups.

Why should I buy veterinary diets from Chewy?
We offer competitive prices and free shipping on orders over $49. Plus, you'll save more if you sign up for automatic refills with Autoship at Checkout. Chewy experts are available 24/7 to answer any questions you have.
How do I order veterinary diets?
- Search for the diet your veterinarian recommends and add it to your cart. You can purchase your veterinary diets along with any other items you need.
- At Checkout, you'll be asked for your pet's name and veterinary clinic information so we can confirm that the item is authorized by your veterinarian.
- Place your order and we'll take care of contacting your veterinarian. If you have a copy of your authorization, you can expedite the process by uploading a scan or photo of it to the Prescriptions section in your account or your order confirmation. You can also email it to vetdiet@chewy.com.
If your clinic needs more information from you or recommends a different diet, we'll let you know immediately.
I have a copy of the authorization from my veterinarian. Can I send it to you?
Yes. If you have a paper copy of your veterinarian's authorization, you can upload a scan or photo to the Prescriptions section in your account or your order confirmation. You can also email it to vetdiet@chewy.com.
Can I use a veterinarian's authorization if it was written by a veterinarian out of state? Yes. We accept valid authorizations from anywhere in the United States, Canada, and U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico.
Why do I need a veterinarian's authorization?
Veterinary diets are formulated with the precise ingredients and nutrients needed to address specific medical issues. Because these diets are formulated for medical issues, veterinary authorization is needed to advise you on the best way to give them to your pet and to monitor your pet's health while they are on the diet.
Can someone else (such as a caretaker or family member) place an order for my pet?
Yes, but we'll need them to contact us and provide the full name of the pet's owner after the order is placed. This is so the veterinary clinic can locate your pet's records when we contact them. Email us at vetdiet@chewy.com or call us 24/7 at 1-800-672-4399.
Do authorizations expire?
Yes. Your veterinarian will tell us when your authorization expires and how many refills you have before they'd like you to check back in with them.
Can I set up automatic refills? Yes. Sign up for Autoship at Checkout and select how often you need refills. We'll automatically ship your veterinary diets for as long as your authorization allows. If you run out of refills or your authorization expires, we'll automatically contact your veterinarian for a new authorization.
What if I have more questions? How can I reach the veterinary diets team at Chewy?
Email us at vetdiet@chewy.com, start a chat on Chewy.com, or call us anytime at 1-800-672-4399. We're here for you 24/7.

Eliminates the hassle!
By LisaLu on Nov 9, 2020
Have learned to really like my vet, but their is always confussion at the front of the hospital. The gals who check you out give us a hard time about purchasing special foods. So while our pets still go there we have just done away with that headache by ordering it thru you.

My Pup Enjoys this Food
By Kathy on Oct 9, 2020
As always, quick efficient delivery from Chewy. My dog enjoys this food as a topper to her dry food. She is required to eat Urinary SO due to bladder stone issues. I only wish I could order fewer cans from Chewy. 24 cans will last for six months since I only add a spoonful to her dry food each day.

Stone survivor
By Photobomber on Oct 6, 2020
After their surgery surprised the taste of moderate Royal Canin had flavor to eat. I am glad the formula doesn't cause any upset to their system. Happy in a inpatient manner to eat this as if it is a treat. This is my reward.

My Dog Loves This
By DudeFood on Aug 6, 2020
As a pet owner, I dread "prescription food". My dogs NEVER want to eat it. I bought a single can of this cut/flavor at the store (by mistake) but my DOG loved it. I hopped right on Chewy to order more. He is a tiny dog so this will last a while. Highly recommended for SO prescription diet.

Wet enhances dry
By Bailey on Oct 16, 2020
Pup loves the wet/dry combination of this food. Has almost quit eating dry without a struggle, but that's all changed now.

Great as a treat dinner or breakfast!
By pashopper on Aug 8, 2020
My dog was unsure because of the shape. He loved it. I like the regular canned because I can mold it around his medicine. I give the slices as a special meal after he has taken his medicine.

My papillion loves this!!
By Ptisme on May 15, 2020
My dog was required to change to the Urinary food based on bladder stones that she has been having. She has tried all the versions at this point and this one is the only one she will eat fully. The others she was not very interested in and I had to coat with other things to get her to eat them. I also add a small bit of the Urinary kibbles by Royal Canin- to give her a little crunch sometimes and don't have to use as much of the canned food as others have noted it is fairly expensive.
